A Heartfelt Thank You

Yes, I have been in a silly mood of late and I had fun posting all sorts of blather and dither about my 200th post. Just a bit of fun and I am so happy that you all shared in that.
Still, on a more serious note, I also want to offer you my warmest, most heartfelt thanks. Thank you to all of my new blogger buddies who have been so good to me...welcoming me into this blogging world and inviting me to visit your perfect little pieces of cyberspace.
When I began this venture late last Summer, I was convinced that no one would ever read a word I wrote or see one single picture I posted.
I thought that many would see this as a goofy bit of self indulgence, a waste of my time. Well, thanks to all of you, those worries were soon put to rest. I gather strength and inspiration from you all. I have gained new friendships with an amazing circle of women, for whom I am most grateful.
I tend to see the world in a very different light now, looking at my surroundings with a softer eye, a more artistic eye.
That is thanks to all of you.
I feel more confident and have grown into a more self
confident woman of late. That is thanks to all of you.
I owe you much, I owe you my thanks, a hug and a smile...
More than that really. This blog has become a precious outlet for me, a place to write, to share, to just have fun. It is addictive! I also have come to treasure the time I spend visiting all of your blogs....my homes away from home. From you I learn and grow and laugh and feel a kinship that warms me, nurtures me.
Thank you to each and every one of you.
Hugs,
Suzie Q

I love my blog, sometimes I get sad if no one comments but at the same time I realize it is my outlet. It's very therapeutic, don't you agree?

Glad I've stumpled upon you in cyber space Sue :)

What a lovely thank you! I adore when you post the silly things but I so enjoy just learing about you and your family and the wonderful places you go and things you do. As a relatively new blogger myself...just barely past the 100th post on mine...I can say I love visiting my new blog friends as well. I feel like I have a new circle of very special friends.

Love and Hugs to you,

Andi

I'm glad you feel that way and I do too. I suppose it is the technical version of pen pals, only broader. It really is wonderful to meet so many people, and get a little peek into their world. I love visiting your blog and peeking at your world.

y'know - just because they don't comment, doesn't mean they don't read! i just found out about two of my friends that do read, just not comment. so you may have more readers than you realize!!

Sue...I'm so glad you started blogging. Your friendship means a lot to me as well. Whenever I'm feeling down I go to my blog and read some of the comments you've left for me. You have a genuine kind heart and love just pours out of you. That my friend is a gift...as is your funny sense of humor. You make me smile, laugh and feel good about myself each and every single day. I appreciate you!

I have one word to say and that is "ditto".
My favorite things you post are the ones that have humor - you have no idea what it does for me to come here and read about your lovely Grace,Dan,Kipper, Bill...your home, your life(see, I pay attention) infused with a good chuckle. I bet you are a blast to hang out with. I'm glad we've met.

Sue, I didn't even know what blogging was, until you sent me the link to yours, and I started reading it all the time, and then I got into it myself. If it wasn't for you, I never would've discovered it, and met all of these lovely people. Like someone else said, you have a gift for making people feel special!

Hey Sue....thank you for your thank you!!!

When I read "...my homes away from home." all I could think about was some Australian soap opera called "Home and Away" that used to come on British tv...can you tell me head is in the clouds!!

I also just absolutely ADORE blogging and reading other people's blogs and it is truly addicting!
I have found that writing in my blog and thinking about what I can post about really helps me stop and appreciate little things in my life--everything from something funny my kids do, to something I cook, to a night out with my husband, to a scrapbook page I make, to just things that make me laugh. It really is a really cool phenomenon--that it makes me feel that way!!
We are all so glad you're in Blog World too. I love to come visit you!!
