*Clearing throat* A poem to honor Suzie Q's 200th Blog Post...set to the music from the Broadway musical, Brigadoon...shall we begin...
Ti's a noble venture this blogging biz...
and at writing and venting this gal is a whiz.
Never at loss for words by the score...
from her keyboard they flew, from her mouth they did pour.
Silliness, ranting and rambling extreme...
For all of you here, twas such a bad dream.
When would her writing take flight and give way...
to something more meaningful to brighten your day.
But she means well this blogger and loves all her friends...
for you she will dance, sing and do deep knee bends.
If not for you all, she would be just so sad...
out here in cyberspace, her blog a mere fad.
Now 200 posts later she still perseveres...
when her posts fail and she's knocked on her rear.
Suzie gets up and shrugs off the pain...
gets back to typing and blogging again.
She thanks all her blog friends and wanted to say...
that without you all, she'd a called it a day.
Now it's her joy to meet with you here...
you bring her great happiness, joy and cheer.
*shuffling papers* Is that all? I came all the way from bloody New York City for *this*? Where's my $#@*&@ agent?
Who is this Suzie Q dame anyway? I am so outta here....

How wonderful for you that Brian took time from his busy schedule to come read for you. I mean how many of us get our hearts desire like this? How are you still standing from all that swooning??? I mean if George (that's Clooney) were to do this,, well there would be plenty of smelling salts involved and probably a bit of a security detail having to haul me out. Oh I didn't tell you he'd read FOR me, just that if I got in where he was.
So even though Brian was doing it for the publicity - you at least got him there!
XOXO
Ha ha, that is wonderful, hope Robert (Redford) is there for my 200th!!
You are seriously so funny....and what a treat to get a guest star to read your poem. :o)
ROFLOL!!! That made my day, so funny. I love the poem and better yet, it was so nice of your good friend Brian to speak for you on this momentous occasion! Happy 200th darlin'. I know I'll be here for your 300th!
