Sweet Saturday

I could not resist this! We were at our new outdoor mall this evening and saw this sign on the window at Victoria's Secret. Now, I doubt that she will be receiving anything FROM this store, under/sleepwear wise for the holidays (!!), but the girl LOVES pink! Notice the outfit? Uh huh...pink. They do, however, have lots of cute little things, IE, tote bags, sachets, socks, slippers and some great bath and body sets. As long as it's pink this girl is happy! Some of the lights at the mall... That white spot is actually the moon! It all looked SO pretty tonight. Our Grace in front of the mall tree... We started the day at our church's annual Christmas Cookie Walk and Luncheon. Grace and I took my mother and one of her friends. So many delectable goodies to choose from. This is one of the many stained glass windows in the church...the sun was streaming in and it looked amazing. After the church activities we decided to pay a visit to our newest mall. The Greene is a gorgeous place filled with all manner of wonderful shops. We spent lots of time in my favorite bookstore of course! Grace and I found the new Eloise book. Grace is a HUGE fan of the sassy New York girl. Just as the sun eased off into West, we paid a visit to old St. Nick. (Those pictures will follow tomorrow) He was super! Grace was tickled and Santa even got a big hug. Now, for those of you who know the girl also know she does not pass out hugs lightly! So this was a BIG deal! The pictures are really cute... We met my buddy TH for dinner at one of our favorite places and enjoyed a tasty meal and spirited conversation. All of us headed back to Mom's for ice cream and to watch the Hallmark movie on the telly. They are premiering a new one every Saturday night through December. This one, "The Christmas Card", was really sweet. Girl sends card to "Any Serviceman" at war. Lucky Serviceman pays a visit upon returning Stateside...you get the picture. But we are just the sort of saps for which such movies are made! And gee, that Army Sergeant was quite a looker! Yeah, yeah, TH and I WOULD notice that! He was handsome with a capital H. And yes, I DO think MY husband is a looker too. Have I mentioned lately that I MISS him? Counting down the days until December 21st...hurry home Billy! Have a safe and sweet Saturday evening all.

Your Grace looks so "pretty in pink"! Her outfit is so girlie and cute.

The Christmas Cookie Walk sounds so much fun. Special holiday events are one of my favorite things this time of year.

Movies with good looking guys are also high on my list of favorites!!! LOL

Sue, love the pictures of your outdoor mall and your church. My niece isn't old enough to "wear" anything from Victoria's Secret either, she's 13 ... but she wants one of the "Pink" Totes. I think they are harmless ... that's what she will be getting for Christmas from me this year ... LOL.

A girl after my own heart. I love pink too! She looks adorable! I'm sure my husband would like to get me a gift from that kind of store.:o) That is not on my wish list though. I love hallmark movies. I'm sad I missed that one. I love all the pictures you took.
