The Boars Head And Yule Log Festival

We started off the day by attending our new church. Today was the children's Christmas pagent and what fun the kids were. There is always one (or 4) who waves at Mom and Dad,
one who cries, one who loses a shoe...there was a little boy whose headpiece kept falling down over his eyes. The looks on his face were priceless!
It was a gorgeous day. The sun was out and it warmed to the lower 50s! That is a real treat at this time of year.
We had a nice lunch, took a drive, did a little shopping and then drove across town. We wanted to attend Grace United Methodist Church's Boars Head and Yule Log festival! We went last year and Grace has decided that this will be another holiday tradition!
Bill and I were married in this church in 1978. My parents were married here in 1953. My grandparents were members for years and years. It is just such a gorgeous place and I always
get a very special feeling when visiting.
This Old English celebration is done so well and with much pomp and circumstance! Lots of laughter too! The music is inspiring and so well done. Just the perfect thing to bring about tons of holiday spirit (and an over whelming desire to fly back to England!).

I agree with you, the Boars Head is a great way to get you in the Holiday Spirit. The youth at my Church put it on every other year.
