Saturday Afternoon With The Ten Tenors

The Ten Tenors is a one-of-a-kind performance to say the least! The Tenors are ten energetic and talented Australian tenors who blend music and comedy to produce a truly unique experience. They slide easily from singing Luciano Pavarotti's signature song, "Nessun dorma", straight into Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" with ease and style. Their voices individually are magical but together, they are pure incandensence. What a way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
The concert was in the beautiful and historic Victoria Theater, Dayton. It had been a while since I was last in this place and the restoration is exquisite! It was here that I saw my first movie! (I doubt that is what makes it historic...but you never know!) Toby Tyler was the film, 1960 was the year. I was 4 and I actually have some memory of the experience!
We all had dinner with Jim, Lisa and Brady and, as Grace said during the ride home, "It was a very good day huh?" Uh huh. It was.

Gracie looks wonderful just like mommy. I must say Sue, when I have looked at some of the last pics of your mother I have realized (again) what a beautiful woman she is. That is where you get it :)
Love,
Terri

Grace looks so beautiful with her dark hair and her regal purple dress. What a lovely young lady! Your Saturday afternoon sounds wonderful and your photos of the building are amazing. I love when they save and restore old buildings...not just tear them down to make room for parking lots.

All I can say is that it must be great to live close enough to a metropolitan area to attend something so wonderful as that performance. There are times when I'm actually jealous of the fact that my youngest lives in Atlanta. There's nothing remotely like all that within forty miles of my little burg.

Uh huh..I thought about how you said you LOVE purple Teresa!
Jen? Believe it or she fell in love with this dress and there was a PINK one like it! I was SHOCKED! I told her it was the color of royalty. Maybe that was it! : )

It was on sale and then, because they are trying to sell out the Christmas/party type dresses, added a 65% off of the sale price!

I love things like that!

The kid loves to dress up. I am not a fahsionista but she seems to be. Oh my!

Oh Amy..I wish you could too. WE don't have a huge city but it has great entertainment opportunities.
WE live near enough to Cincinnati and Columbus to enjoy them too.
