A Weekend Cottage Getaway

Here's the plan, we will rent one of these cottages in the United Kingdom and Ireland and all of us will just have the best time...we will count the sheep in the pastures, paint watercolors, read historical romances, take long walks along the paths seductively scented by honeysuckle....any of you game? Wow, wouldn't this be heavenly? So, for just now, I must dream but taking a peek inside some of these cottages was almost like a weekend in the English countryside.... ....almost!
Just click on this link and enjoy a little daydream.... http://www.countrycottagesonline.com/Cottages_in_Oxfordshire.htm

That would be so fun wouldn't it. If I ever win the lottery it will be my treat to all my special blogging friends!

That is my dream, a real life, honest to goodness dream! you described it perfectly! Reading, writing, art, tea time, exploring, skipping even, riding a bike down a road...waving at the passersby!

Oooo, you're sneaky. You tried to trick me into thinking that I'd come to the wrong site :-). I LOVE the changes you've made (since I did my blog reading a couple hours ago)...LOL.

By the way, me and hubby are gonna look at the link tonight and "critique" some home decor...hee hee. (it's the little things...)

I feel like I have entered a beautiful dreamland here at your blog. It is so cozy and warm and inviting. I love your banner. I wish I knew how to do clever things like that at my blog without messing up what I already have.

You have a very nice blog. I will be back.

When do we leave? We'll buy our books, tea, and sweets when we get there.

Really. When? :) (((hugs)))

P.S. Daydreaming is so fun. I think it's a highly underrated form of entertainment.

First of all, thank you for your sweet comments on my last post, Susie!

These photos are stunning! My mum and I are actually talking about visiting Ireland this summer, and I think these pictures have given us a 'push' to actually start planning. Thanks for sharing!
