What's The Wattage On That One Lady?
Recently, on Rhoda's blog, Southern Hospitality, she had a lovely post about the lamps that *light her way* at home. I so wanted to try this idea and Rhoda graciously told me to give it a go!I guess I should first say I am a total lamp freak. I love them. I have them all over the house and am always looking for others...do not *need* them but would always pick up a special one and then find a spot for it. This post will just show the ones that reside on the ground level of our home! I have included both lamps and *lights*....both help keep us out of the dark and make our house a bit cozier.

I know this is not *technically* a lamp but it IS a candelabra light!
Ok...everybody join in..."Youuuu, light up my life....blah, blah. LOL!!! Sorry, couldn't help it. That was the first song that came to mind after I read your post.
What a super cute idea!! That's something that we don't have enough of...is lamps. Probably because YOU have them all...hee hee.
Love, love, love all the stained glass lamps and the little rooster with the checked shade is marvelous...but this little black and white doggie is just the cutest thing I've ever seen. Kipper has his own special lamp!!!
Thanks for sharing. I'll come back and re-read this post when I have a bit more time and admire your lamps a bit more.
Susie Q, Your lamps are gorgeous and I so enjoyed the peak into some of your rooms. Love seeing how you are letting your light shine. Just beautiful. Wasn't that a cool post that Rhoda did? I was very surprised when I counted my lamps. Fun to see others like yourself joining in. Sue Life At Home
Wow, awesome lamps! I have to say the rooster ones are my favorites!
My brother made me a Tiffany-style hanging lamp for my wedding years ago. It hangs in my dining room. He carried it all the way to Long Island from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Isn't it something how a lamp can either be a plain, functional piece...or a work of art that has a story?
BTW, thanks for visiting my blog. Yep, my son can be really funny at times. All my kids are like that!
I love all your lamps and how and where you use them. I have a similar tiffany dragonfly lamp and LOVE it. I sure wish I had decorating flair like you though, your home is fabulous.
Hi Suzie Q, Loved seeing all your lamps, esp the stained glass. They are gorgeous.. Had to bring Bill in to see them as he does stained glass work.. Did you make any of them? xo

Holy Moly your house looks phenomenal and very deceiving. From the outside it appears cottage size but the interior photos show it's much larger. Love your taste in lamps (which I also love btw) a beautiful array of style and illumination. You've got the knack my friend!! Love and hugs to you, Lisa XOXO

You have a rooster with a lamp coming out of his back. That alone makes me want to read more. And wow - what an eye for decorating - the books stacked just so. Very inviting and warm. Thanks for coming by to say hi.
