Winter's Last Gasp, Wheeze, Pant, Puff...

...sniffle, snort, sniffle and gag. We are at almost 16 inches of the marshmallow fluff now. It is quite beautiful really. It is so quiet outside, no one is moving about, no cars on the road. The snow is of the powdery variety, not the sort that makes for great snow people building. Oh, it is lovely but sheesh. 16 inches and perhaps more on Monday. March should be the harbinger of Spring right? Instead, it seems to be heralding 6 more weeks of Winter. Old Punxatawney Phil was right. Thanks Phil...what a guy. I have been having Internet issues all day due to weather so I am unable to spend much time visiting or posting. I will do so soon I hope. Till then, here are a few photos I took this afternoon. I hope you are all well, staying safe, warm and happy.
Love and Hugs, Susie Q

Brrrrrr....just when you think it might be coming to an end!! We have rain here, massive amounts of cold soaking rain...4" so far, but luckily it is rain or it would translate to 40" of that pretty (in December) white stuff:) Stay warm and enjoy the prettiness cuz it will melt quickly.

I'm glad I only have to look at it via photos. We got the rain part of the storm. I think my mother got about 17 inches in Columbus, Ohio. Yuck!

Hi Susie! I am loving your snow from afar! That is the kind of snow you pray for in December....still enjoy when you see it in Jan. In Feb you are kinda liking it but mid March....with Easter a couple of weeks away...not so much....

Stay warm sweet friend!

Oh SusieQ: I'm so sorry to know that you got all that white stuff. We were supposed to get it but only got about 3 inches. But we always get snow in March so it's really no big deal. It's just that Easter is so darn early and I really would like to be outside for my annual Easter egg hunt. Oh well.....

Wow! You got the snow and we got the deluge. Rain, rain, rain. The back yard was a lake, the cellar was full of puddles. Then the high winds came. Luckily, we didn't lose power...

Stay warm, and hang in there. I'm sure spring will be all the sweeter. :)
xoxo,
Mary

Hi Susie Q, Stay warm and cozy. The weather this winter has been so weird. We have yet to get snow this winter except for a dusting one day and I really was hoping for one good snow. Last year it snowed on Easter. Go figure. Have a great week. ~ Lynn

We had some snow here Friday into Saturday morning. It was beautiful. It had been a very long time since we had any snow to speak of here in our part of Kentucky......Smiles

I am safe and happy but I don't know about the warm. Cold here in NH today but at least the snow you got did not come our way. I've had enough.

Your snow pictures are beautiful!

We just spend a week in Puerto Rico with temperatures in the 80's. This is their windy season so I had to hang on to my hat. Instead of getting a sunburn, I got a windburn.

I've been waiting patiently here in sunny Florida to see pictures of Grace and Boo celebrating birthdays.

Your snow pictures look pretty but they make me cold.
