For The Children

This is our Brady...and he would like to show you some pictures of a fun day at the park!
Here are some people who are so very special to me and to Brady...
Mr. D. is quite the fashion trendsetter...
Photographing the photographer
Brady doing O...H...I...O to get pumped for the walk/run!
Some folks were just all abuzz about the event!
Here...we...go!
The participants were just as peppy as they neared
the finish as they had been at the start!
Our Miss Grace crosses the finish line after completeing her first 5K!
Brady, his Daddy Jim and Mommy Lisa cross the line. Go Brady! (Uncle Bill was pulling the wagon!)
I wanted to share this event with all of you. April 2nd was Autism Awareness Day. Millions of people around the world participated in walks to raise money for research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure of Autism.
We walked, not just to raise money, but also to educate the public! 1 in every 150 children will be affected by Autism.
Austism striles in all racial, ethnic and social groups.
It is 4 times more likely to strike boys than girls. It is more common in our youngsters than pediatric cancer, diabetes or AIDS.
We walked to help raise awareness of how Autism affects individuals, families and society as a whole. When we all come together is a cause as great as this one, we CAN work miracles. We CAN find the missing pieces to this puzzle...
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Great work guys..!
The more people are made aware & the more support this gets, the better.

Miss Grace is sooo tall, what are you feeding that girl?
She looks so grown up !

I really need to do some research and learn more about autism, as I've never had any personal experience with it. Thanks for posting about it. May God bless your whole family! Sally

Yesssssssss, very much for the "children"!! Can you help spread the word for prayers, honey? Go here to read the story. As a mother I'm sure you'll understand. Tears have not stopped flowing for 2 days now.

Thanks for sharing all that with us. I learned a few things I didn't know about autism and it makes me want to learn more. It was great to see so many people taking part in this event. Hopefully soon we will find "the missing pieces."

Just wonderful Sue! My nephew has severe autism. He's an adult now, living and doing well in a group home. We all love him very much! We all hope and pray that the puzzle of autism can be solved one day.
