A'Fairs Of The Heart

It was a busy weekend and a happy one to be sure. I do hope yours was just as wonderful! It all began in downtown Dayton at the annual World A'Fair. It is fun to attend on opening night and seeing all the dancers, bagpipers and wonderful attire. Listening to the music, laughter and native languages is always a treat. Of course, sampling the delicious cuisine from around the globe is a delight as well! What's not to love? Here are some images from that evening...

There must have been several celebrations in Dayton this past week. I read about the Fleurs de Fete. It seems like there is something going on in Dayton all the time. Times are changing. Dayton was dying the year we left. . 1982.

How wonderful to travel around the globe but never have to board a plan or pack a bag. lol!! That sounds like a fantastic faire.
That photo of the fruit bowl with the espresso coffee pot could easily be a print hanging in someones kitchen! Your photos are great!
I hope all is well with you - I'm really bad about commenting YET I am working on getting back in the swing.
Thinking of you dear Sue, always upbeat, always sweet, always entertaining!
XOXOXO

You took these photos in DAYTON? As in, right up the street from me? I hadn't heard anything about this. And the pics look like you were somewhere else entirely, like South of the Border. How fun! Your photographs really are amazing. -Julia
