A bird does not sing because it has an answer.
It sings because it has a song.

Oh how active they have gotten! Bibbing up and down and beginning to make all manner of sounds.
Poor Mama and Papa Robin are doing their best to keep their babies fed and safe.
I captured this photo this morning just as Mama headed out for more worms...
I hope your weekend is a sweet one!

Last month my cat Clyde knocked over a Carolina chickadee's little birdhouse I had nailed to a post. All the babies died. I was so sad about that, and so angry with that darned cat! But he was just doing what cats do. Lovely photo of a tender time in nature's garden.

How sweet!! What a great photo. I love the song playing too, very catchy.
they are becoming birds!
today a baby owl fell out of our neighbors towering maple tree.
I heard it squeaking. By the time I saw it - it was actually climbing the tree. Really. Every so often it would flap its wings to help it climb.
I got a photo of it - so I suppose I should post it. so darn cute.
How sweet they are! It must be so much fun watching them, and seeing them grow right before your eyes!
I would be honored to be added to your wonderful blog!! I will add you to mine if that is okay?! Have a lovely Sunday.
Wow! What a picture! I can't wait to show it to my 6-year old daughter Lily, who loves birds (baby birds--even better!). -Julia :-)
