The Apple Of My Eye

Grace created this piece as a gift for our buddy *T*. An apple for the teacher... I wish you all a happy and safe weekend. Do something nice for yourself...and remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Unless your doctor is Dr. McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy or ER's Doug Ross, Luka Kovac & John Carter. And, my personal favorite, Dr. House. But then, Brian Dennehy did play a doctor once...hmmm...play a doctor or play doctor? Oh do behave Susie Q! Would someone call a doctor!
Love and Hugs, Susie Q

What is it about Brian Dennehy exactly? Have you done a post on this? I see his charm, but still... I'd be curious as to what he does for you. I find that stuff so interesting. Cute apple from Grace.

Cute apple painting Grace. And
speaking of Brian Dennehy :-} ... Kate and I instantly said "Wait until Susie Q hears this" - Mr. Dennehy will be performing at the Stratford Festival in William Shakespears "All's Well That Ends Well" June 27-Aug 23. You can read all about it on their website - stratford festival.ca
Have a great weekend :-}

Cute painting - what a lovely idea! I can't seem to work up any enthusiasm for doctors - I watched Grey's Anatomy last night and I just dont' see the fascination!

Have you seen Dr. Joe Gannon (Chad Everett) lately? Do you EVEN remember Medical Center? I loved that show and he was sooo very dreamy.

Have a wonderful weekend too!!!!!

I also prefer Dr. House from our crop of current tv doctors. He is extremely yummy (grumpy, yet yummy...)!

Love the apple!!

Great work Grace! And my favorite is "The" Doctor: Doctor Who, as played by David Tennant. I can't wait for the new series to begin!

I bought some nice Gala apples today and some naval oranges. My poor body is in desperate need of vitamins...lol!
Too many sweets during the holidays have taken their toll!

Sue,
I'm a confirmed doctor-phobe ( or whatever the word is) but I have to admit a certain fascination with House. Don't know if you could say he "floats my boat," but I do love the show.

Love Grace's apple -- talented like her mom!

Have a great weekend!

What a cute painting.
My favorite Dr. would have to be Dr. Ross, too bad he isn't on ER anymore.
What movie or show did Brian Dennehy play a Dr.?
Have a great weekend, and eat your apples.

Grace is so artistic. Most kids would just paint an apple; she made a real work of art.

What a cute apple!

I know I'm showing my age, but as a little girl, I thought Dr. Kiley was pretty cute...you know, Dr. Welby's young colleague? LOL

Great apple...my Grace loves to color and paint as well - maybe she'll be as good as your Grace?! Hmmm...Dr. McDreamy is my personal fave.

Oh, i'd play doctor with any of those guys. :) And my hubby of course. That's the ticket...

Love Grace's picture. You should BOTH have coffee table books, and I'm not even kidding. If I had your talent, I'd throw mine away.

Oh man - another cute blog! I may be eternally glued to this computer checking them all out! I came across yours somehow - but had to comment, because it says you are from the Midwest - and I thought I had to say hi from a Michigander! (I think I am one of five of us!) (I actually grew up in Wisconsin, in a little berg) AND you are much closer to my age than most of the new mommies! So Howdy from St. Joe! I am going to have to spend an evening reading your past blogs - don't you love it? I end up reading so many I never take time to post on mine, but then my blog is also only read by my kids! Well if you ever hear of an actual meeting of Midwest people - let me know I have lots to learn about all this blog stuff! Take care!

I like Dr. House, too! Those eyes...could almost...almost make me forget Vincent.
Hugh Laurie is amazing. He is a man of many talents. Did you know he was the dad in the Stuart Little movies, and played a goofy bad guy in 101 Dalmations? His forte is humor, and you can sure see that in "House." His timing is impeccable (sp?).
Grace's work is lovely. Is that a painting, because I thought I was looking at something quilted!

Sue,
I cannot believe that this discussion was only three days ago...it is a little scary to tell the truth. I thought all hose crosswords, text twist and sudoku were supposed to keep my mind nimble. Apparently about as nimble as the rest of me...hrumpf.
