Lots O' Treats, No Tricks...

I wanted to show you all the treasure that our Andi sent me for my birthday! She created this precious box herself and see that adorable sailor and his girl? Too sweet! Not that I was ever THAT sweet as a sailor's wife but hey... Something wonderful seemed to be inside... Wow!! A Wicked pin! I LOVE it! Of course I have been wearing it on my denim jacket constantly! Thank you dear Andi!! I just love it all!
It was a beautiful evening...cool but a sweater made it just right. Grace decided to be a "1956 Girl" all on her own with no push from Mommy. In fact, she began planning this outfit last year! The day after Halloween to be exact! I think she is a doll but I am a bit prejudiced I think! Of course, the doll needs a doll...in matching outfit of course. Have I mentioned lately what a diva my girl is? Good thing she sews and has access to many who also sew! : ) But dear Andi, we DID get new sparkly black flats to wear! Shoes rule! Only a true diva would teach herself how to curtsy! Do you think *I* taught her? With MY bad knees? Surely you jest! This picture scared Daddy!! He looked at it and said, "Oh whoa. She looks 17!!" Get that stick ready to beat those boys away Dad! Gracie with her best friend, the divine Miss M. Work it girls... Is it real Grace?? Touch it and see... Good bye to Halloween 2007..I hope yours was fun! Welcome November!

Grace made a perfect 1956 girl. What a sweetie. She's a natural model. I wonder if she's begun planning next year's costume yet.

Oh my goodness, Gracie looks TOO cute!!! Love her 50's outfit! And her little friend is adorable too (I guess adorableness attracts adorableness, huh?) I love making up words, hee hee.

I'll put up pix of Miss Jayla tomorrow. Too pooped to worry with it tonight.

Have a great evening, my friend.

Wow,
I think I had that outfit in the first grade, well maybe not the same one, but real close. Sue, thanks for stopping by to visit me. I am so happy that people actually read my drivel and then stick around to comment.

good thing Bill knows how to shoot.that girl is entirely too pretty for her own good.

tell Bill what Uncle Brendan is going to do when our Erin starts dating: the young man will come over and Brendan will be cleaning his shotgun..."you WILL have her home by 9, wontcha?"

that's assuming she will be allowed to date. ever.

Grace and Miss M look adorable. Two young sisters at our local community Halloween event where dressed in costumes very similar to Grace. They also had those upturned cat's eye glasses that were so popular back then - these in black with white polkadots. SO cute!
