Christmas Eye Candy

Okay Bunnies...hop on over to The Old Painted Cottage! Their pick for cottage of the month, December edition, is none other than our dear blog friend, Pat! If you have yet to see Pat's beautiful home, or met this special lady, this would make the perfect time to get acquainted! She has so much talent and has created a home that is both elegant and stunning, warm and cozy. Congratulations on being chosen Pat! Then hop over to see Pat's blog, Back Porch Musings. Sue, thank you so much!

I've just added a post about our Nell Hill's adventure, yesterday. We were going to wait until today, to return home, but we were hearing reports of possible ice! Anyhow...we had a good time in KC, even if we got lost!!

Thanks for the announcement. Pat's cottage is beautiful!!

Just wanted to let you know that after a break and lots of thinking and experimenting, I am back in blogging land again. I was "Elegant Grace;" remember me?

I am now, "Biscuits & Grits." A whole other avenue of how best to express myself in this blog world.
Come see me sometime; I still enjoy visiting you even though I have not commented in a while.

Hi dear sweet Susie... it's so good to see you again. Lately I've been so busy I didn't have any time left to visit my favorite blog friends... I will pay a visit to your friend Pat right now.

Have a blessed night.

I don't think I like Pat very much! :) Her house is giving me decoration jealousy. It is JUST GORGEOUS!!!! Okaaaaay, I'll be nice. But, I want you to know, it's hard not to fall into the sin of bitter, bitter envy. Bitter. Envy. Yes, a shout out to the Lord for keeping my soul free of envy.

Hi there!

Remember me? Yep, I'm the one who hasn't been by for a visit in over a week. Sorry. It's been wild and crazy around my house, plus I've been out of town, but I'm home now and sooooo ready to catch up on my blog reading. I've sure enjoyed visiting here today. Finally!

I went back and read all your posts I've missed and it's been fun seeing what you've been up to.

You have been busy! Lots of good photos!

Hugs!
Kat

That was so much fun, they were all just MAGICAL. I felt like I wanted to run around all their houses and soak it all in, like a child.

Oh my gosh! I LOVED catching up on your blog! My computer is completely dead, and hubby Lee is glued to his lap top ... but he is out today! So I get to catch up!
Wow! Where to begin. The doctor humor: loved it! The Wonderful Life trivia: LOVED it and I have to tell you that my nephew looks a bit like Jimmy and sounds exactly like him. So so fun. I love that movie BIG time. And all of your beautiful photos of Thanksgiving, and your little cozy room painted in ... something gold #3 ... I'll have to go back and look at that cuz I want to paint a room that color now too! And the perfect picture of that golden leaf and the orange one WOW ... and that Christmas story that I cried all the way through! I had no idea that you went through pretty much the whole first year of your life with Dan as a single mother, wow. And, moving on to other things, I love the lamp photos. You are just so amazing. SO amazing. I sometimes think: this paragraph is long, I should just look at the pictures and then post a comment, but your writing is SO ENJOYABLE I just delight in reading your blog.
I wish my pc was working so I could post and comment and visit all the week long ... sigh. But your blog is worth the wait, that is for sure.
One little funny, speaking of gastroenterologists: my little Tristan brought me his brother's book and asked me to read it to him: "The day my butt went crazy". He was quite insistent. ha.
I hope your holidays are warm and bright and filled with hugs from friends, family, and little dogs that sit in laps during Christmas movies.
Your home looks so homey I wish I could visit. It also inspires me to want to decorate MY house.
Again: WOW BEYOND WORDS DANG YOUR HOUSE IS CUTE/AMAZING/BEAUTIFUL/CLASSY/INVITING/ AND ETC ETC ETC.
Wow.
Any neighbor who stops by no doubt is warmed, heart and soul, by a visit with you.
