It's Mr. Bill! Oh NOOOOOOOO!

Bad Saturday Night Live reference I know! Thank you so much for all your sweet comments and prayers. Sue is so touched by them all. She really misses each of you and looks forward to catching up with everyone. Her mom is, thankfully, getting back to normal. She is still a little weak but is well enough to go home tomorrow morning. The surgeon was in this afternoon and says she looks great. Sue will have to tell you all about the week she had as only *she* can spin the story with justice! I am sure she will relate the experience in her own silly fashion. Thank you for helping her to understand that the hallucinations her mom experienced were something that happens to many people. That made those 3 days easier to take. I knew that you were all special people but, in the last few days, I have been able to see just why my Susie is so besotted with each and every one of you! A kinder, more supportive, loving group of people are not found just anywhere. I know how blessed Sue is to have such special friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sue will be staying with her mom for the next few days. I doubt that she will be able to get online as her mom's home is not wired for the Internet. If her mom is stable and doing well (and with her buddy T, brother and sister in law's help) we are leaving for Niagara Falls this weekend. We are scheduled to meet the family who adopted Grace's orphanage bunk mate. The girls were very close in China and enjoy getting together when we can all arrange it. Susie's mom is adamant that we go as planned. We will return on Monday evening and I am sure Susie will have lots of pictures to share with you all. Thank you again for your many kindnesses, prayers and the love you have shown to Susie and, although I doubt I deserve it, me as well. Daniel and Grace send their hellos and thanks too! Kipper, Lucy and Henry are too busy chasing Mom's poor little dog, Abby, around to say anything but I am sure they are thankful too. I hope you are all well and enjoying your November. From all of us around the little blue house....warm thanks and hugs. Bill and family

Ya know Bill...my husband would have no idea how to update my blog if I wasn't able to. I appreciate that you keep us in the loop. Now I think I need to teach him a thing or two about blogging...just in case.
I'm glad Sue's mother is improving.

Hey Bill: Thanks so much for the good news about Sue's Mom. My Mom was very confused after her last two surgeries. They called it Anesthesia Psychosis. Anyway, after a few days, she was back to her old self. I will continue to pray for all of you. What a special trip for Grace to be going to Niagara Falls to see her former roomie. Can't wait to see photos. All my best to SusieQ.

So thankful Sue's mom has turned the corner and is recovering comfortably. I know first hand the unrest one feels when a loved one is in a state such as that...scary...but not all that unusual...drugs are great for what ails us...but sometimes the side affects are more disturbing.

What a wonderful trip you guys have planned...Grace is one very lucky young lady! What wonderful memories she will carry with her throughout her life. She will grow into an unselfish young women...b/c you two have shown her the world that way...truly a loving gift.

Tell...Suz we miss her...can't wait to hear her stories...but for her to take time to rest and enjoy...we'll gladly wait...

Thanks again, for keeping us up to date...you're something else...Mr. Bill...

Blessings...
Teresa

Thank you Bill for all the updates! I don't know many husbands who would take the time to do that, I think it's great you are for Sue!

I'm so glad to hear her Mom is well enough to go home. The trip to Niagara Falls sounds like a lot of fun. What a special thing to do so the girls can see each other.

Take care of yourselves and be careful on your trip this weekend!

Dear Sue...

We were at the lake and I missed two of Bill's messages. I am keeping your mother and you in my thoughts and prayers. My mother had the same paranoia and hallucinations, for the same reasons. I know how disconcerting this can be.

I'm hoping for a speedy recovery for your mother.

Wishing you the very best R&R at Niagra Falls!!
Love, Pat

PS: Thanks so much Bill, for keeping us up to date! Means so much!

Only a truly special man would use the word "besotted" to describe how Susie feels about us...and how we feel about her. You are such a sweetie. No wonder Susie grabbed you! :-)

Prayers still going up for Susie's Mom, but such good news that she seems to be doing better.

Look forward to Susie Q's return, but tell her to take her time. We all certainly understand!

I just love hearing good news, and I never doubted for a second that Susie's mom wouldn't recover from this set back. She needs a trip to the Falls...what a wonderful sight and site...wish I could go with...hugs to Susie and Gracie...and you...take loads of pix, we're greedy!

That's wonderful news!
Dress warmly coming up this way, though...It suddenly decided to act like November around here and is cold and spitting snow the last couple of days....
God bless!

Thank you for posting this positive update. Hopefully Sue's mother is home today and feeling like herself. There's nothing like being able to sleep in your own bed after time in the hospital. I'm glad you'll be getting away for a bit this weekend. It doesn't sound like an exactly restful time but just getting out of emergency mode will help set things back to rights.

Hi Sue & Bill:-) I was away for a few days so didn't hear the news about your mom until now...what a scare you all had but such great news to hear that she's now doing much better and ready to go home! My prayers are with all of you. I've just come back from Niagara Falls...one day we'll have to meet there too:-) xoxo

Mr Bill! Mr. Hand is applauding you ... you know. .. in that one handed-finger-tips-slapping-the-palm kind of a way. WOW! I don't think my husband would know how to FIND my blog. And you are SO articulate. WOW. Birds of a feather DO flock together!
Wow! What a week the two of you have had! I hope Susie's mom is very much recovered. Hallucinations must be such a scare to encounter. If she had done it on Halloween... . well. That would have made an interesting Halloween ... let's just say that.
SUSIE Q! I missed your birthday! Oh my gosh! And your mom's big scare! And fall at your house! (Man I love your photographs!) And the trip to the Ford museum and to the inn and my birthday excursion with all of you! I loved going to old town New York and I loved that I was "there" ... I felt so nice when I saw my name on the list, you are so thoughtful. And I DO LOVE New York! So much!!! I feel like such a BAD BLOG FRIEND ... even though I couldn't help that my computer was dead ... still ... I missed so much. I am so sorry about that! I have to tell you that I LOVED that you saw the weiner mobile. I SAW THE OSCAR MEYER WEINER MOBILE ON OUR FREEWAY! I drove right past it several years back ... but not THAT many years back. Maybe between 2-5. Recently, anyways. And that McDonald's sign? You know the little neon fat guy? He's on OUR McDonalds on Firestone Blvd. Rob goes there for McChicken sandwiches with his buddies. It's one of the original McDonalds. and Grade's poodle skirt? And her doll matches? That is SO awesome!!!! Did she sew all of that? (Except the shiny shoes of course.)
And I loved the "scary" story about the case worker and your purple socks. See ... I read and read and read ... I had to know EVERYTHING that I missed!
I miss you Susie Q! I posted pictures at my blog until my computer gave me an error code. Hannah works on my computer a little more each week. Sometimes she isn't here cuz she is at her Dad's every other week, usually. Yes ... I saw that you loved the name Hannah but you named your cat Hannah. And the next one was Lucy, right? But Grace IS a great name, I agree.
OK. Rob came home with a lip piercing this afternoon (a giant safety pin!!!) and I have to go and see that it has been PERMANENTLY removed. His friend dared him with $20 to keep it in for 24 hours. I bribed him with $20 to take it out, keep it out, don't take any more dares for stuff like that, and to kick that friend's BUTT for daring him to do stuff that could kill him. Infections are serious things, you know! But, negotiator that I am, I settled for all but the butt kicking. I had him scrub it down with hydrogen peroxide.
OK. I have commented for WAY too long, but that is how much I missed you! SO SO SO MUCH my friend! Happy Birthday! I hope it was great! You look great. I saw a picture a few months back. I know. I hope November treats you well and sees your Mom well. Stay away from the edge of Niagara falls. Even if someone offers you $20 to put your leg over the bannister. ha.

Bill, the way you stepped in to update everyone....the way you write....the emotions you express..is further proof of the wonderful match you and Sue are! My husband is an extremely handy guy but computers are not included therefore he wouldn't have known how to do this.
Still sending love and hugs to all of you - AND for the continued improvement of Sue's Mom.

Bill, you need to start your own blog. Or am I so late in the game that I'm unaware of it.

Hope 'mom' continues to improve with leaps and bounds, and your get together also runs smoothly as planned.

Say Hi to SQ for me -- as I've been away from the blog for a week, and unaware of her unfortunate turn of events.
