Like Call For Help Dudes!

Hey there...it's me, your buddy Kipper. I'm sure you all missed seein' me the first of the month didn't you dudes? Yup, I knew it. You all remembered Ritter's Dog Nite right? Well, gee whizzies dudes, my humans forgot. Like really dudes! They F.O.R.G.O.T. Oh yeah and all that. They say it was because my Mom was babysittin' my cousin Boo and my dad had to work some late some nights and school had just started for sissy Grace and bro Dan and some other things that do not like have a thing to do with me, the Kipper. I say to them, "You humans gots issues? Here's some tissues!" My old man was not amused. But I think that my monthly Dog Nites at Ritter's should be like respected don't you dudes? I just have no idea how Ritter's pulled off their September Dog Nite dudes. It musta been one huge bust of a dog nite for sure. Dudes I mean, the Kip was not in attendance. THE KIP WAS NOT THERE! I can only imagine the girls wailin' and the guys cussin' and oh what a scene it musta been. Dogs layin' all over with their tongues hangin' out and slobberin...okay, so they do that anyway but just imagine...The phone rings around this house every day so I can only assume it is my dog friends callin' and demandin' I come to the next one. Or it could be Ritter's callin' and demandin' that I be there or they will go outta business. Not that anyone here ever lets' me answer the phone or nuthin'. Sheesh. Just 'cause I am short and have no opposable thumbs. I get like so dissed 'round here dudes. My humans keep sayin' they are like so sorry (I so KNOW you are sorry you sorry humans you) They say they will make it up to me. They even took me over to the Dairy Queen for some ice cream. Like THAT was gonna work? Okay, so I scarfed down the frozen stuff and it was good and all but hey. There was not like one dog there to party wiff or nuthin'. Just made me like sad you know dudes? So, I am like askin' you all to help a poor, sad, mistreated doggie dudes. Call your senator dudes and congressman dudes. I don't have any idea what a senator or a congressman is but I heard that once on TV so it must be helpful. Or call the President, he has a dog. How about callin' that Brian Dennehy dude. I hear he likes dogs and he is pretty tough right? Or maybe that Queen in England. I saw a picture my Mom has and that Queen lady has loads of dogs so she would probably help a poor little guy like me out huh? I would like SO do this for all of you dudes. *sniff*

Oh man, Kipper...what a bummer! For you and for all your buds when you didn't show...
Glad you got some DQ out of the deal, though...my human kids would be a bit envious!

Oh- my dog Mandy has a message for ya'...

"Hey dude! You so have it easy...I never get DQ and don't even know what a dog nite is. Well, my dog nite is sleeping in a crate...without a rug, dude! Just because I, like, start chewing up every rug and doggie pad they put in there...is that a reason to stop giving them to me?
I have been going on more walks lately, though...that gal that takes care of me is like watching episodes of Dog Whisperer and becoming all calm assertive on me...go figure!"

Aww Kipper, don't be too hard on your mommy and daddy - sometimes things just come up! I'm sure all the other doggies missed seeing you there! Maybe next month for sure!

I can't believe you were so deprived, I'm sure you were really missed Kipper. Think of all the catching up you can do in October.
I just read your Mom's posts about the storm, you guys sure were hit hard. That could be why they forgot, too busy getting your kennell in order dude..!

Hey ya Kipper! You are always welcome to hop on a bus and come and visit me! Bring your own food though...my maw feeds me raw dog food cuz I have allergies. Tho, maybe ya'd like it - us dogs do like raw food. Hey, maybe we can even pull on our master's legs to take us someplace fun. I'll show you my favorite beach to run on!! Lots of dogs there - and maybe we can find us a rich senator there!...or a cute little fuzzy girl to rub noses with. ;)

Woof!

Kip ... dude! Wecome back! I thought maybe you had taken a little vacation because of Ike "howling" through your 'hood dude! Don't be too hard on your family cause you know they love ya lots. Just think, you'll have much to tell the dudes and dudettes about the storm when you go back to Ritter's. It'll be a real 'party' I'm sure. Rock on dude! xxoo

Annie says, "man Kip, you better call somebody. Someone HAS to care. Dog nites MUST NOT BE FORGOTTEN!!!!! Those bloody selfish humans."

Oh Kip...that must have been the disturbing phone call Bully received. He did pout about over the distress of it all. You hang in there guy...I'm sure you'll get a trip to Ritters soon!

Hello dear Kipper
I am so sorry this happened. Should I remind your mom and dad, next week?

I know how much you missed the September get together. Here it is the end of summer and my folks only stopped once or twice at Central Dairy!:-(
October Dog Nite at Ritter's will be even "sweeter", with you there. Wish I could be there, too!

Love and Hugs, your friend Molly

Poor Kipper. It's rough to have missed Ritters but use it to your advantage, dude. Your folks are feeling guilty; they'll do ANYTHING to make it up to you.

My dog Max is envious that you get to go to a Doggy Night. We recently had a "Bark in the Park" for dogs and wow Max never knew there were so many other pups out there. Ice cream always works to calm Max down when he doesn't get his way, but if I were you Kip, I'd hold out for some more. Besides, October is just around the corner.
