Happy Fall Ya'll

It's here, that soft, sweet time of year that I love so very much. We begin putting our gardens to bed for their long, frosty nap and shifting our homemaking energies to creating warm & cozy interiors. This will be the week I am finally able to tend to that most enjoyable chore. Oh but I adore bringing the colors and treats of Autumn into our home. I will share some of that later this week but, for now, here are just a few photos of early Fall delights! Each weekend brings another
round of festivals and garden center open houses. The weather was warmer this weekend but still nice. Blue skies and a bright, beaming sun kept us smiling...that and the fact that my brother and sister in law finally recovered their electricity! Yes, after 7 days, the power company was able to have their area back up and running today. Whew!
So now Autumn can finally begin in earnest! Happy Fall ya'll...
Have a sweet week. May this Fall season be your best one ever.
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Hi Sue!
Oh how I love fall! I just posted my first fall post on decorating my mantel...on my blog and the Home Goods blog. Can't wait to see what you are doing inside your home.

Thanks for the visit; I've added you to my favorites. I did not realize we live close to one another, but you are showing things from *my* area! Our boys' band played at that very courthouse for last year's Grand Illumination, and will do so again this year. I hadn't heard it lost part of its roof.
Please stop by and visit again sometime!

Susie Q, I know you are getting things all pretty. I can't wait to see.
I have been working so much..I did get mine out of the attic. I got my pumpkin I won from you last year and can't wait to get it all out.

Susie, love your blog :) Glad you weathered the nasty winds in Ohio... Oh how I wish I could embrace fall like you do in this post... I'm still going kicking and screaming into the colder weather, longing to be still eating out on the deck each evening. If fall went directly into spring, I think I'd love it, but as we all know, old man winter is lurking between those two lovely seasons!...Donna

These photos are simply stunning.. Absolutely gorgeous! I, too, enjoy fall -- the colors are so rich and of the hearth and home.

I hope it's OK that I included you on my blog list. Let me know if it's not!

Love that corn!! Since we are still without floors and furniture (will it ever end) I don't have any Fall stuff out yet!! So...living through everyone else will have to satisfy me for now...thanks for the "AHHHH" moment!

I absolutely love fall, even though we really don't have fall in Florida. I grew up in New England and boy do they know how to do fall there. I love your pictures. I have some multicolored corn hanging on my front door. Thanks so much for putting me on your blog roll. I meant to add you to mine and I will do so now before I forget.
