The Season Arrives...

We are trying to catch our collective breaths and begin to embrace the season...missing our Kipper but knowing he is in a beautiful & special place. Thank you all for your sweet messages, emails and cards. You will never know how comforting each word has been for us.

The cards are ready to be addressed, the shopping is done and the pantry is filled with baking needs. We still need to finish the outdoor decorating but today it's snowing! Perhaps we will get that done tomorrow...who knows! It all gets done eventually doesn't it? Tonight is the first party of the season and tomorrow Bill & I will attend a wonderful tour of homes in a historic section of Dayton. I will be sure to get a few photos to share with you.

I hope you are enjoying each day of this glorious season. Stay warm, smile often and embrace the magic!

Love to you all...

Hi Susie! Your home looks so pretty! Again, I'm so sorry to hear about your precious Kipper. Our pets are like our children and hold such a wonderful spot in our hearts.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

So glad to see your home all beautified for Christmas. Your house always seems so comfortable to me -- like someone really loves living there!! I've still been thinking about you several times a day knowing that you are missing THE KIP!! The hardest part for me was always tapping the floor with my foot when I dropped a crumb on the floor when cooking. Rosy always came running knowing there was a tiny goodie for her. It's those little things that tear at your heart. Cherish the memories! Sally

Sue, Your Living Room looks so cozy ( and I know it is) dressed in its Christmas finery.

Have fun at the House Tour; you know I have Historic House Tour envy. Bob and I went to one in Providence today, but they don't allow photos. Many lovely homes, but unfortunately without pictures they are hard to remember. Must be old age, huh?

Take care,
Janet

It sounds like life is happening all around you. What warm and comfy pictures of your home.

I started my decorating today and will hopefully get a lot of it down tomorrow.

Sorry about your doggie. I met your friends at the Barn Sale today. Your home looks so pretty all ready for Christmas.
We lost our sweet dog last year. It is so hard. We waited a couple of months and found another sweet one. Hope to meet you someday.

Absolutely gorgeous as always. I'm decorated -- hoping to post pix over the next week or so. But the time just seems to fly and while it seems I'm flying at the time, I look at all to do and feel I'm stuck in a leisurely walk!

Well, visiting here is lovely and I'm very in the spirit!

My dearest darling,
I am so sorry to hear about Kipper but how wonderful it was to read of his adventures and I'll always remember him and his craving for Ritter's 'scream.

Love ya,
Deanna

What a beautiful tree and comfy, cosy room. Really loved the little antler plaque above the wreath. Thanks so much for the card, pictures and kind words. I will never forget the sweet Kipster dude. He was one of my favorite blog pets. Hope you have fun on the house tour. Merry Christmas to you and yours, sweet Bunny Lady. xxoo
