My Kipper

Tonight we said goodbye to our little heartbeat at our feet, our protector, our loyal and loving friend.
We all went to say goodbye and get his sweet kisses in return. Bill & I stayed with him as he left this world.
After many tests and xrays it was determined he had a
tumor growing in his wonderful heart. It all came on so suddenly and there was nothing anyone could do.
Thank you all for loving Kipper and for caring about him, about us. I will never stop missing him but I know he is in a better place now and not in any pain. We love you our Kipper Pipper Pie.

The next time you have some ice cream, please remember sweet Kipster Dude.

Love to you all,

I'm so sorry for you Suzie Q. His antics always made me smile.

Dear Sue,
You are my thoughts and prayers.

I hope the vet let you spend as much time as you needed with Kipper. When I had to say good-bye to my Phoebe, I got to spend as much time as I needed in a private room. I held her and cried for an hour after she was gone. My Phoebe will take good care of Kipper up in heaven. I know she will.

My heart aches for you and your family. Kipper was a lucky dog to have you as a mommy.

Oh Sue! My heart is breaking tonight for you and Bill and Grace! I was so hoping and praying it was something that would mend in time with your loving care. I know he is in a wonderful place now, but that doesn't lessen the pain for all those who loved your little man! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Much love and big hugs,

Sue, I wish there were words I could say to make your pain go away but I know there aren't, My thoughts and love are with you.

I feel so sorry for you and the family. We've all been through it, but that doesn't make it any easier for you. Just know that I'm thinking of you. Remember all the good times with him, and he'll always be in your heart. Take care of yourself and take time to grieve. Sally

we had a black lab cross that succumbed to the same problem... about 30 years ago. It hardly seems possible that she was gone so long ago.

Kipper will live in your heart forever!

So sorry to hear about your loss. I am glad that you and Bill were able to be there with him as he slipped away. He will now be dancing with all the other animals in animal heaven including our Shanti who we lost in 2002.

Dear Sue, Bill, Grace and heart goes out to you all on the loss of your Kipper...It brings tears to my eyes as I remember a few weeks ago being in your shoes today...We still talk about Boo every day, we say goodnight to him at the foot of our bed everynight and we say hello to him every time we come home....I don't think the pain will ever go away...but we know that both Boo and now your Kipper are in a happy place and free of pain....I am so happy to hear that you stayed with him until the end....and remember .......

Oh Sue, So sorry to hear that Kip was that ill. He was a cute little guy, always bounding around the house. It's always a sad thing to have to do- I've done it twice... You know that he loved his family and that memory will always stay in your heart. I'm glad I got to go for ice cream with him! :-)

Sue I didn't want to come here today, and now my fears have been realised. I'm so, so sorry.
In time the tears will be replaced with smiles, as you remember the funny things he did.
You will all carry him in your hearts until you meet again at Rainbow Bridge.
Much love

Once again I am shedding tears for your loss. But then I think about my Earnie, Cosmo and Miss Piggy being in the place where Kipper now is. He will have lots of other precious babies to keep him company. {{{HUGS}}}

Oh Sue-how sad for you and your family. It's wonderful that you could be with him at the end. I lost one of my cats last February and it was equally as fast-he was fine on Saturday and left this world on Tuesday. Cherish your memories and blessings and prayers to you all from here in NH.

Oh Sue! I'm so sorry to hear about sweet Kipper. How painful to lose such an important part of your family. Every time I eat an ice cream cone I think of him and will continue to do so. You will always have good memories; I hope they bring you, Bill, Dan and Grace a bit of comfort when your hearts hurt so much. All of you are in my prayers.

I'm so so sorry! I know how hard this is. We had to say goodbye to our Buttons in the same way a few years ago and it still hurts to think about him.

Again I want to say that I'm praying and thinking of you and your family. Kipper was a very special dog and I so enjoyed his posts. I hope you don't mind, I posted his photo on my blog (giving you credit of course) and paid tribute to your buddy.

Susie, I am so very sorry. I know how it hurts. Kipper had a wonderful taste of heaven living with your family before he went to live in the real heaven.

"Cream" will never be the same. I will remember him when we get a treat also.
I send my very best to you during this very difficult time. We have only had two Cats and have lost our first suddenly. It is so difficult is it not. Kipper.. we must go and raise a cone to you!

Oh, no! I am so sad to learn of the loss of sweet, comical Kipper! I sooo loved his reports from the ice cream stand, so clever! He was a cutie-patootie for sure.

I know what it is like to help your beloved pet at the end. It is the most difficult, heart-wrenching part of being a pet owner. But I think it is part of the responsibility of loving and being loved by your dog.

Many hugs to you and your family. I know you are missing your sweet Kipper in so many ways.

I am heartbroken to learn of the loss of Kipper. What a shock! I know what you have been through, both our previous dogs went very quickly after getting sick suddenly. The process of helping our dogs move on is heart-rending, the hardest part of being a dog owner, yet the most solemn and serious of responsibilities. What we owe them for loving us so.

I know you are all missing your Kipper. I will miss his reports from Ritters, I found them hilarious. He was a real sweetheart. {{{}}}

I've been a negligent visitor and only learned of this today. My heart breaks for you -- I'm glad you could stay with him; I'm sure that meant so much to him, to be with the peeps who loved him so.

Those of us who have lost a beloved friend know how your heart was breaking, too. So I send love and hugs to you. I suspect an angel-dog will be looking over your holiday.

Mr. Kipper.....
you be sure and find Jordan and give him plenty of doggie kisses.....he will certainly LOVE you.

Sue, again, I am so very sad to hear about Kip. Our babies bring us such joy and are an integral part of the family. May you be sustained through this sad time with fond memories of your sweet boy.
