Summer's Sweetness
Gosh but it has been a busy Summer here at Rabbit Run Cottage. I am actually looking forward to Autumn and a slow down of sorts. Aw, I always look forward to Autumn so who am I kidding!
It has been a sweet Summer...full of many smiles and memories to last forever. I apologize that I have been an awful blogger friend for such a long while. I am beginning to play catch up with each of you and see what everyone has been up to. I wish you all a sweet end to your long Summer days...

susie, I know what you mean, I have had a difficult time keeping up with my fave blogs for a couple of months now.
Just wanted to pop in and say hi and that I haven't forgotten you :) It is always a breath of fresh air coming to your beautiful blog.

We have a new students/families potluck at our kids' school tomorrow night, and as glad as I am that we get to meet folks and start making contacts, it grieves me to put away one more bit of summer. I'm just not ready. Now, next week, when Big is in Shanghai and I'm all alone with the kids, I'll probably be singing a waaay different tune. I'm fickle that way. :)

I'm still not quite ready to use the "A" word. I was changing the flowers in my front door to some darker colors and my daughter gloated that I must be decorating for fall, I told her no, these were my "late summer" flowers:>)

I too am looking forward to fall and some cooler temperatures. But in Florida...that may be November!
summer sure did fly by for us...and we didn't even accomplish anything, lol
