February Snow

"Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter

lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb

opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl.

And the anticipation nurtures our dream." ~Barbara Winkler

"Nature has undoubtedly mastered the art of

winter gardening and even the most experienced

gardener can learn from the unrestrained beauty around them." ~Vincent A. Simeone

brrrrr, this all looks really, REALLY cold. I am NOT a snow person but I do love winter...love big roaring fires, hot tea, good books, warm throws..
Another Irish blessing for you:

"MAY YOU BE IN HEAVEN A HALF HOUR
BEFORE THE DEVIL EVEN KNOWS YOU'RE DEAD"

Although the view is decidedly chilly looking, the window views look cozy...wish I could be there to witness that snow with you

Your snows are coming our way. We had one last night and another ice storm is coming tonight! (shivvvvver)

I like the little cat in the window looking out. So cute!

I am sick of it, I tell you, just sick, sick sick. We only have about 6 inches, but now it is sleeting just to add insult to injury. I shoveled it all out (since when did shoveling become *my* job??) and I want nothing further to do with it, does someone in charge hear me??

The snow is so beautiful in your photos Sue. I do sometimes miss seeing that first pristine snowfall with nothing but the tracks of a bunny...always so pretty. But alas, I'm grateful that my home is in Florida. I do love this sunshine state!

These are wonderful snowy pictures! We're waiting for a slow warm up, now ... I expect most of our snow to be gone in the next 2 weeks. :(

Susie Q, Those sweet words coming from a sweet lady like you mean so much.
Even though I really don't know you I have to tell you I have always looked up to you. The life that you and your husband gave to your sweet children bless me each time I read your post. I know God had to give you a special heart for this.
Blessing for a great weekend. I know whatever you do will be fun..you guys are always out having fun together=)

Hello dear Sue,

We have so much snow here and I'm actually getting quite sick of it...but....your pictures make me realize how very beautiful it can be:-) I just took that Oscar quiz...I'm quite good at acting like I know all about the Oscars too! hehe Loved watching those videos...Meg Ryan has always been one of my favourite actresses. Have you seen her in "City of Angels" with Nicolas Cage? OMG, such a beautiful love story that makes me cry every time I watch it!! Hope you're feeling much better my friend. xoxo
