Are You Ready For Some Football?

The Wee Elks had their first game Saturday night.
It was an away game, against the Northmont Bolts, one of the best teams in the league. But guess what? Our team won! They were so happy it was a joy to see. But good sportsmanship abound in his league and congratulations, smiles and greetings were heartily exchanged at the end.
Grace was so excited to be on the field for the first time...and how cute was she? I may be prejudiced on this fact but come one...right? *smile* Of course, all of the girls on this squad are cute as a button BUT they are also very sweet and work hard at this job.
Everybody do the Centerville Rumble...everybody do the Centerville Rumble...
Black and Gold, Black and Gold...
Greeting the opposing sides...
The victory *tunnel* made by parents, siblings, grandparents and well... all those who came out to support the team and the cheer squad. That's Grace at the rear right of the tunnel...such a sweet tradition!
The coaches always include the cheer squad in the post game huddle and
thanked them for being a apart of the big win!
We won! We did it! Whoo Hoo!
Wishing all of you a sweet week...take care of yourselves
and remember just how special you are!
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Fabulous! My granddaughter was a cheerleader in high school and loved every second of it! I used to hold my breath when she was at the top of the pyramid yet it makes for great memories!
