I am re-running a post from 2007 today. Why? Because, gosh darn it, I felt like it. *grin*. But the real reason is that my daughter came down the stairs singing this tune...where she heard it she has no idea. But heard it she did and sing it she did. You will find the old post here:
It has been raining a lot for the past 3 days and the clouds are once again forming in anticipation of a late afternoon thunder storm. But there is always something to smile about. Always. Even when those *gray clouds* are metaphorical and not physical.
I dedicate this post to my friend Andi (who I speak of in this 2007 post) and her son Chase. I love them and wish I could see them more. Andi's mother has been ill for quite awhile and I wish I could do something more for them...something more than pray or send good thoughts...it doesn't seem like enough. I hope she knows how much I care...
One of the things that always makes ME smile is having all of YOU visiting Rabbit Run Cottage. I don't deserve you, I have been a neglectful blogger once again, but each one of you is appreciated and loved.
I hope YOU find something to smile about today...and let that old rain fall.

Well, Susie, once again I was engrossed in your blog. I clicked over to read the 'you are my sunshine' post, which led me to your mother's 80th birthday tribute. I could spend all afternoon enjoying your words in your archives, but must get on with it. (For some reason, someone will expect dinner.) Always a joy to visit you. Sally

Thanks, Susie, for the great blog. I went to your "you are my sunshine blog" and it was just what I needed. I am going through a rough patch right now and that blog through some like on my situation. Thanks for being "YOU" and sharing some many wonderful words of wisdom.
Who is the neglectful blogger?? Um yeah... that would be ME. BUT I have good reasons, one being the ex-wife moving down the street. Did Sue tell you? Will you still love me if I start drinking 24/7?? LOL
Anyway, once again the dust needs to settle and then we can meet up again... ugh.
