Whew...Is It Really Over?

Oh yeah...just look at all of those cardboard boxes and overflowing trash cans...counters full of cookie leftovers and the fridge full of tiny plastic boxes filled with 3 or 5 bites of ham, turkey, lasagna and ambrosia salad. Sheesh. And why is it that all of the decorations with which we so lovingly decked our halls just 3 short weeks ago now seem to be closing in on us? Oh yeah...because they ARE! In a house as small as ours those extra trees and bits and bobs may soon develop the ability to devour us all! Eek!
Just thinking about dismantling all the fluff and tinsel makes me sleepy so I think I will go make some popcorn and watch a movie...but first I want to say hello & ask how your Christmas holiday went! Am I just getting older or does it seem that you spend months planning and arranging and shopping and preparing only to have it fly by in a blink of an eye? Yeah, yeah, I KNOW I am old but still...*sigh* We did have a fine old time here at Rabbit Run Cottage. There were many smiles, lots of laughter and the company of family and friends. Now there is a house full of torn wrapping paper, crumbs on the floor, dirty dishes, dusty decorations, piles of laundry and one exhausted Susie Q. But the kids are happy, the cats are happy, the husband is happy and the rest of the family seems happy. Kip didn't get what was on his list...again...and me? Still no Brian Dennehy in my stocking but I did get the next best thing. Okay, maybe the 4th next best thing but hey. I now have his screen worn uniform shirt from Assault on Precinct 13. Yup. Santa felt so bad that he was unable to convince Brian to leave his family and spend the holidays with me that he offered this token instead. Silly Santa. Although I am tickled positively blue to have this most lovely & treasured memento I will still begin my Christmas list next year with, "Dear Santa, thanks for the used shirt but this year, GET ME DENNEHY!" I think that is ever so polite but quite to the point don'tcha thunk? So as we slide on out of 2008 and into the unknown abyss that is '09, I will be popping in to visit you all, posting a few pictures of our Christmas festivities and dashing off a bit of nonsense here and there. Just think. 2009 is like a fresh, clean tablet page...not one ink stain or pencil smudge to be seen. It is ours to do with what we will. Let's try to make it a good one. Have a sweet week, smile a lot, remember how much I adore each of you and be good to yourselves!
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Merry Christmas...

I will see you all after the holidays! I wish you a Christmas that is filled with sweet delights, warm hugs, joy filled hearts and the great gift of love. To each one of you, your precious families, pets and friends...Merry Christmas!
Love Always,
Susie Q

Are You Ready? It's Almost here!

All ready for the big day? Every year we run around like crazy trying to do too much in a short amount of time! We all KNOW what the real meaning of the holiday is but we also want to make Christmas delightful for those we love. Every year I have the same nightmare. I dream that it is Christmas Eve at 6 PM and I have yet to buy a gift, do any food shopping, send a card or decorate the house! I wake up in a cold sweat! Now why do we do such things to ourselves? *smile* I decided to make it a bit more simple for myself this year yet still find myself rushing through the day to get this or that done. *sigh* But, just like the Whos down in Whoville show us each year, Christmas comes whether we are ready or not! And Christmas does not need fancy ribbons and bows, a spotless house or the perfectly glazed ham...no, it just needs loving and caring hearts and open arms. In fact, sometimes it's what we do NOT get done or what went "wrong" that make the sweetest memories! This morning I found myself thinking about our son's first Christmas. Daniel had arrived from Korea in April of 1990. He was 8 years old and did not speak a word of English. He must have been frightened but that precious smile never faltered. He was such a joy and a true delight from the moment he stepped foot from the airplane. That joy would sustain us when Bill was sent to the Persian Gulf on 2 short days notice. He would be gone for a very long time and would miss Danny's first day of school, first Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. My heart was broken for both of them but it was our son who made it a happy holiday for me. Dan just loved all the excitement surrounding the holidays. He took great pleasure in everything from baking cookies to late evening Church services on Christmas Eve. It was impossible not to be caught up in his happiness! For Daniel's first Santa visit I chose the mall that had the most *real* looking St. Nick. While standing in line to see the jolly old elf, one of the old boy's helpers noticed the way Danny was speaking. She motioned me over...Dan was so fixated in watching the others with Santa he had no idea I had moved away...and asked about him. I explained he had been in this country for a short time and was still learning English. She asked if he was from Korea. It seems that "Santa" was married to a Korean lady & spoke the language fluently! She asked for Dan's American AND Korean name and when it was time for us to be called, Santa looked over and beckoned by using his Korean name. Oh but the look of pure joy that spread across my son's face! Santa and Dan had a long talk, in both English and Korean and my boy absolutely beamed! When he ran back to me, he gushed, "Oh Mommy! He is really, really real Santa! I knowed! I knowed! I do!" And Mom knew it would be a moment she would treasure forever. There were so many moments that year that would cause us to feel sad but ultimately, it was Dan's presence that made it a sweet holiday to remember always. I hope that your Christmas will be filled with those little moments that warm your heart and tickle your silly spirit. If the cake falls and the cookies burn...if the cards are late or the tree is lopsided...just remember that Christmas will still arrive. It will come to us silently and reverently. It will come to remind us that God so loved us that he offered his greatest gift, His son, Jesus Christ. Each one of you is a gift to me, a gift that I cherish and hold dear. Even when I can't make blog rounds the way I would wish to, I am thinking about you. I send you warm hugs and much love. God Bless each one of you.
Love always,
Susie Q

A Warm Memory...

For most of us who grew up in the Dayton, Ohio area, going downtown to Rike's department store during the holidays was a must do! Their windows were just such fun! I can still remember standing in the bitter cold, nose pressed to the icy glass, drinking in every single detail each scene offered. To us, the children of the 50s and 60s, they were an integral part of our Christmas experience. When Rike's was imploded to make way for the Schuster Center for the Performing Arts, these scenes were salvaged and reconditioned. What a treat for the children of today and for those of of a *certain* age who still remember childhood...and have kept their child like enthusiasm locked securely in their heart!

A Christmas List...A Christmas List!

"Ho Ho Ho nuthin! Susie Q is listing again? That really fries my plate o'cookies!"
Dear Andi tagged me awhile back and old slow as a turtle Susie Q is just now getting to it! But, when a list is at stake, you KNOW I will get the job done! (Can you tell how twittery with excitement I get over a new list?)
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Both but heck, those gift bags can be pretty and soooo easy. I am all about easy. I AM easy...er...wait a minute. That is NOT what I meant...hey...
2. Real tree or artificial?
Artificial. I know...I can hear all of you purists and believe me! I agree. But between my asthma and Henry the Cat who loves to eat tree needles...what sort of holiday would it be with a cat's retching and Sue's wheezing and gasping? I doubt anyone has done a Christmas tune about that!
"On the first day of Christmas my cat coughed up a tree..."
3. When do you put up the tree?
Hopefully before the 26th of December...just kidding! No nasty emails now! Usually the first week of December. I swear! Really!
4. When do you take the tree down?
Are you asking me or Henry? I like to take it down just after New Year's Day but Henry tries to bring it down 3 or 4 times a week.
5. Do you like eggnog?
What have you heard? Does eggnog like me? Does eggnog want to go steady?
Yeah, I like eggnog. Straight, no doctoring. I am dizzy enough without any added Rum.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Wow...hard question. I got a Panda one year...a big one with a huge purple bow around his neck. I have pictures of him with me. I slept with him and carried him around until he practically disintegrated. I still have him...sweet old guy. Wait...did I just say OLD? IT wasn't THAT long ago...really. Okay, it was...
7. Hardest person to buy for?
Bill is truly non-materialistic. Drives me crazy but he is always happy with his presents.
Dan is another toughie, another non materialistic man (How did Grace and I team up with them?) My Mom always says she doesn't need a thing...but we usually come up with a thing or two she DOES like!
8. Easiest person to buy for?
Hands down...Grace. The girl wants it all. In pink. And sparkly.
9. Do you have a nativity scene?

Two small ones that we have had for years and one that Bill's Mother made for us a few years ago. It sits under our tree and features a cow, a donkey, baby lambs, 3 camels and 2 spoiled cats who are usually snoring among the shepherds.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
I send them the old fashioned way. There was a time we sent lots and lots more but so many people are now gone...or families that are no more. Reading my address book is like a walk down memory lane. We send out about 80 now. I used to make all of our cards, I always sent a picture and a small letter, signed the cards TO the folks so they knew I was thinking about them as I wrote it...the whole shebang. This year I fudged and did a photo card and wrote the note on the back. I felt like such a heel. I know. I should be ashamed. But hey! I did get them mailed ya know. Don't I get credit for that?
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
Aw gee. Any gift chosen with love is never wrong. A present from the heart is always welcome. Um...but there WAS this
strange, scratchy yellow shirt from a great Aunt I got the year I was 4. My Mom had to force me to wear it and I cried...oh how I cried. I am still seeing a therapist over the trauma.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
White Christmas...yeah. I get all schmaltzy over Bing and Danny singing and hoofing.
(You may now insert Clark Griswold's line about Bing and Danny Kaye from another favorite film, "Christmas Vacation")
Oh and when the General sees all the men waiting for him..."We'll follow the old man where ever he wants to go..." and when George Clooney's Aunt puts the knight in shining armor on horseback for the Bingster into Santa's bag...and...um...
Nah. On second thought, I barely know this film at all.
13. Better to give or receive?
I love to give and watch the smiles...I know. I am such a saint. But heck, I smile pretty big when I get a present too ya know.
14. Favorite Christmas Food?
I know you can get it other times of the year but I only buy Peppermint Stick ice cream at Christmas time. I love it. Grace loves it. (Pink remember?) Bill and Dan? Not so much but hey! That just means more for the girls!
15. Favorite Christmas tradition?
Taking drives to see all the lights, putting out cookies for Santa (Yes I did this even after Dan was older and before Grace. They got eaten...so Santa had to have been there right?), watching White Christmas and It's A Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve and A Christmas Story on Christmas Day. Late night services on Christmas Eve...
16. Colored lights on the tree or all clear?
All clear now...all through the house and outside too. One of these days I am just gonna go crazy and buy all wildly colored lights and wow!
17. Favorite Christmas song?
The charming and sentimental classic, "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" always brings tears to my eyes. And I like Carol of the Bells, Silent Night and Julie Andrews singing ANYTHING Christmassy.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
Wow. For years and years and years we traveled. Bill took his two weeks of leave and we headed to Tennessee (My folks) and then up to Ohio (His family and our old friends). In snow, ice, pouring rain...and just like the post office, we always got through. It was dicey a few times but make it we did. Now we feel so lucky to be able to stay in the area and spend time with our family and friends and NOT hafta haul out suitcases and car survival gear and cat boxes and dog dishes...
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
Heck, anyone as childish...er...childlike as I am can name them all.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
It changes year by year. On a whim or dependent on which box I open first. Told you I was lazy.
21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning?
The kids get to open one gift on Christmas Eve. And by kids I mean me.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year?
All those people complaining about how they are running so late this year and how they are peddling fast to keep up and...wait. Oops. It was me who complained. Sorry. But I do annoy myself. Does that count?
Carry on....
23. Favorite Ornament theme or color?
The ornaments my kids make are the most special to me and I have always loved the true reds and greens mixed with white. I have done so many other colors but I always go back to that one. Hey, if it ain't broke...
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Lasagna...gooey and cheesy and bubbly...is it Christmas yet??
25. What do you want for Christmas this year?
I think we all know what I always politely ask Santa to bring me. And we all know that Santa, quite grumpily may I add, always says no.
In lieu of THIS gift, I will just ask for Peace on Earth and Good Will For All Creature Great and Small. That might be easier to get than Brian Dennehy in my stocking anyhoo...according to old St. Nick that is. Hrmpf.
And with that, this list comes to a close.
Cheering and screams of thanks are heard across the land...

Yikes! It's Santa!

9*1*1!! Help! Can you hear me? Can you hear me NOW? I need assistance...I am being held captive by a deranged man in a red suit! HELP! Santa needs meds...lots and lots of meds. Buckets full of meds.
Hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em right Santa?
Ah, when I was but a tyke nothing would make my eyes shine brighter than opening up a carton of cigarettes on Christmas morning! Thank you Santa!
Now we KNOW the economy is bad. Santa had to hock the sleigh and all 8 reindeer. Gee but it's gonna take him a loooong time to deliver all those presents via the subway.
Just in case you didn't like the Chesterfield brand...how about a Pall Mall for the kiddies?
Or wait! What about a pack of Camels? Never saw a child who didn't get all excited over a can of Prince Albert tobacco! Whoo Hoo!
Now are any of these a Santa you would want to come down YOUR chimney?
Yikes! I think Santa just smacked the heck outta that poor little fella with those straw thingamajigs. Look at his face...heck, it scared me! Am I the only one who is suddenly thinking "So THAT was what happened to Rasputin"?
Oh now this is just terrible! Santa is creeping up to these two unsuspecting children, ready to pounce and scream, "BOO!". That chair is gonna need a goooood cleanin'...
*Insert Scary Muzak* You are all under my spell...you will do as I say...you are powerless to object...
Okay, this guy needs no caption. The face says it all...I think I saw him on an episode of MSNBC's Lock Up - San Quentin. *shiver* Nothing says Happy Holidays more than hiring paroled
ax murderers to play Santa. Okay, now *I* am gonna have nightmares...just exactly what is he gonna do with those switches huh?
I don't know about you but I need to go and watch Miracle On 34th Street immediately!
Just for grins & giggles...
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Just A Taste Of Christmas At Rabbit Run...

This afternoon I put together some boxes of oh so good peanut brittle to take to our neighbor's. Let's just hope no one breaks a tooth. Law suits are such a nuisance this time of year. It tastes good, I swear and I even have a cute little bunny stamped on each tag. Rabbit Run Cottage and all....get it? Oh...I figured you did. Sorry. Um...need to have the kids deliver these tonight. I mean gee. It is too cold for ME to be out there isn't it?
The deer head needs something all purty don't you think? A red ribbon perhaps?
Okay...OKAY! I got the hint from some of you! I am waaay behind in posting our Christmas decorations. Well, I was late in getting it all done you know! Hmpf...so here is just a taste of what is here. Not that anything I do decor wise has taste. My rooms are not as elegant and beautiful as some of yours but heck. *I* myself am not as elegant and beautiful as some of you either. (I HEARD that! So I am not elegant and beautiful at all! Can we move on now?) So, for what it is worth, the cottage feels cheery and cozy and all Christmassy. Hmm? Why yes, that IS a word! I like that word. So there. I don't care what this lousy spellcheck says!
Christmassy...Christmassy...Christmassy!
A little here... ...a little there...
...a little over on that side...
...and some more on this side... This is our New York City ornament in a place of honor...you all know how I like that little town just a teensy bit. Teensy. Bit.
Top 'o the hutch...snow people and that way cool banner made by blog world's own Becky!
Bottom 'o the hutch with stockings made for us by Bill's late Mom. There is another hanging on the china cabinet. She finished Grace's just before she became ill so it is a real treasure.
Foyer...foy-a...foy-eh? Foy-er? Nah. We t'ain't that formal. It's the too small, crowded place where you come in from the cold and tramp snow all over the floor. Please forgive any cat toy mice you see on the floor. Henry is just awful at photo styling. He was fired after this assignment.
Don't worry. I offered him a stellar severance package.
Oh, and yes. I DO wish that hardwood ran under that study and into the dining room. My husband was too frugal (A fancy word for cheap!) to do it then. He said we would do it later. I am not holding my breath. I did but I passed out and started breathing again but that is a whole 'nother story.
See my little penguin? I LOVE my little penguin. He is holding a sign that says "Let It Snow". Every proper home needs a penguin holding a sign don'tcha know. Ms. Martha S. herself has a penguin holding a sign in her house. Okay, I made that part up but she SHOULD!
More later but I need to run and finish painting the Diva's room! Dark, hot pink does not go on easly and smoothly! But it will be so divalicious when it is finished!
Love to each one of you...I hope your week is going well. Each one of you is in my heart!
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Oh No! She is Listing Again!

Grace baking cupcakes~ Christmas Eve 2007

I was tagged this week by dear Melanie! Now you all know I hate a list right? Sure you do...I hate them. OKAY! You know me so well...so I actually LOVE to do lists. I am fanatical about them...hmpf. There is something fun about doing one that I just can not explain. I also have one to do from Andi as well...oh how I love a list! I am in list heaven!

For this one I have to include 6 Things I Value and 6 Things I Do Not Support, then tag 6 others to join in. Now, most of you know I am almost never too serious here on my blog and never where listing in concerned. With that in mind, here are my 6...

6 Things I Value:

1) My camera. I would be lost without it. Those around me have tried to hide it to no avail. I have no shame. I will photograph anything at anytime...tree stumps, frozen vegetables, sleeping husbands and grocery store produce. No subject, breathing or not, is immune.

2) My drivers license. Not something I think about often but it connects me to the world. Okay, so maybe not the world, I mean, I can't actually drive to New Zealand right? But this little laminated piece of paper gives me a measure of freedom. I have the ability to jump in the van and head out...even if I am only going to the drug store and not driving across the US on Route 66 in a red convertible with the top down, my hair flying in the wind...nice thought though huh?

3) Traveling...anywhere, anytime

is something that I love. To be able to do this is something I value. I would not take bars of gold in trade for the experiences I have had & the sights I have seen while traveling.

4) My friends. I do not know where I would be without the love and support of my friends.
But don't tell them I said that...they will get big heads and their hats won't fit.

5) My family for whom I would do anything, go anywhere. I would be lost without them.
Even with a GPS.

6) My faith in God, my faith in the power of good over evil, my overwhelming belief in the power of love. Hmm...did that sound like song lyrics?

Things I Don't Support:

1) Bad reviews of Brian Dennehy films. 'Nuff said. Hmpf. Can you even imagine?

Boo Brian movie role put-er-down-ers.

2) Calories in chocolate, regular Coca Cola, pasta, deep dish pizza, cheeseburgers, movie popcorn, ice cream and mashed potatoes. I vehemently stand against this.

Boo calories.

3) Scrooges at Christmas. It is not hard to find a bit of joy during the season if you wish to do so.

Boo Scrooge.

4) Animal haters. Hard to believe but they are out there...uh huh. I have seen 'em. I have heard 'em. Boo animal haters.

5) Jeans that seem to shrink overnight. It is the oddest thing and I can not figure out how they do this just hanging in the closet. I simply do not support shrinking jeans.
Boo jeans that get too small.
6) Age spots on hands. I have a huge issue with them. I do not, in any way, shape or form support age spots. I realize this is harsh but I can not endorse them in any way.
Boo age spots.

6 People I Tag:

1) Andi

2) Janet

3) Carolyn at Harbor Hon

4) Sally

5) Sandi

6) Pea
Oh heck. Any of you who love lists like I do, I TAG ya!!

Love and Hugs,

Susie Q

Wow...

Teeny edit: Hey Pamela!! I have not been able to leave a comment on your blog for awhile. I keep getting some goofy pop up blocked icons for some reason! I just wanted you to know I AM visiting! Oh, and I LOVED your new Salt and Pepper shakers! *giggle*
...what a difference a year makes! Of course, these photos made Daddy a bit misty eyed. Uh huh. Our little girl is growing up and we have the images to prove it!
Posing in front of Victoria's Secret in 2007...all of that pink for a confirmed pinkaholic!
And today. Wow huh? Visiting Santa Claus in 2007...
...and tonight.
And yes, this is the same Santa Claus. We have visited him for 3 years straight and Grace is convinced he IS real. In her words, "He might not be THE Santa but he is a really important helper for sure!" Now for all of you naysayers (like my Mom!) who think Grace is just pulling our leg about *believing*, well, here it is in HER words. Ahem...her BFF, who still greatly believes, was chatting with our Grace over the weekend. Her Mom over heard this conversation....
BFF: "Can you believe that some kids in our class think it is the parents who put out all that stuff on Christmas Eve?"
Grace: "No way! I KNOW it has to be Santa 'cause my dad would never spend THAT much on me all at once!"
Hmmm....let me think about this. So Santa is getting ALL the credit for being such a great guy. Whoa.
Oh well...I just know that *I* still believe. And yes. I AM a big kid. A REALLY big kid thank you very much.
Love and hugs,
Susie Q

Holiday This And That...

It has been a busy week of seasonal joys...Grace's school chorus performed their Christmas concert at both the school and in Downtown Dayton. Is there anything sweeter than children's voices gathered together in song? Grace loves performing with the group and we so enjoy hearing them.
Saturday we spent the afternoon with Grace's best friend's extended family at their annual Christmas Party. Great food and conversation and wonderful people.
Sunday we attended the 11 am service at our church so we could be there for the children's Christmas pageant. That is always such a sweet event!
In the afternoon we took Grace and her BFF bowling then out for an nice Italian dinner...their choice! Oh my but the restaurant had added a delicious risotto dish to the menu! I love risotto!
All in all not a bad weekend...the weather is turning iffy tonight, wind, freezing rain and snow. We are headed out to see Santa so the snow will just add to that delicious feeling of Christmas joy! You know the one I mean...right? Sparkly, bright, happy and filled with joy!
It looks like I am becoming a holiday movie reviewer these days! I just like to share my love of film and there is just something so perfect about gathering the family, cuddling under a cozy quilt, sharing a bowl of popcorn and viewing a sweet, uplifting film!
Our dear blog friend Sue at Rue Mouffetard and I seem to share a respect for character actor Monty Wooley. She
reminded me of another classic film that could be considered a Christmas time treat.
"Since You Went Away" stars Claudette Colbert, Jennifer Jones, Shirley Temple., Joseph Cotton, Monty Wooley, Hattie McDaniel, Robert Walker and Agnes Moorehead. It is truly a
sentimental portrait of the World War II home front with its trials, fears, heartbreaks, and its tribute to 1940's American family values...a simple message of pulling together in times of need for the better good of all. Something that all of us in 2008 could pay heed to!
My Mother loves this film and we watched it together many times. If you watch it for nothing else, look at the lovely house decor that these films always had! So it seems a little overly dramatic by today's standards, it is still retains a certain charm and innocence that is so refreshing. I have a great love and fascination of the 1940's and so films of this nature call to me.
The richness of the black-and-white film, the basic camera work, the perfect sets. It's why I love these old films so very much.
This sweet, tear-jerking film begins with a written introduction: "This is the story of that unconquerable fortress - the American home, 1943."
Here is a brief synopsis...
While husband Tim is away during World War II, Anne Hilton copes with problems on the home front. Taking in a lodger, Colonel Smollett, to help make ends meet and dealing with shortages and rationing are minor inconveniences compared to the love affair daughter Jane and the Colonel's grandson conduct.
Thank you for stopping by to see me and please excuse me when I can not always visit you, or leave a comment on your blog. I think of you all so often and love you all. I know you understand how busy this time of year can be so blog time is compromised greatly!
Phooey!
I appreciate each one of you, treasure you and send each one of you many hugs and all my love!

A Sweet Evening...

Tonight was one of those evenings that I love...the decorating is almost done so all the twinkling white lights were lit and Bill came home with take out Chinese food. The snow was falling ever so gently outside and it just felt so cozy to be inside with my family. Yes, there is still much to be finished and work that needs to done but for tonight we just decided to enjoy some down time. We let Bill choose the movie and his choice? A true holiday classic, "The Bishop's Wife" starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. The wonderful supporting cast includes the incomparable Monty Wooley and Elsa Lanchester.
Bishop Henry Brogham prays for divine guidance with the troubled building of a new
cathedral. His plea is seemingly answered by a handsome and ever so suave angel
named Dudley who reveals his true identity initially only to the clergyman. However, Dudley's mission isn't to help with the construction of the cathedral. He is there as a guide to Henry and the people around him. Henry has become obsessed with the building of the new cathedral, to the detriment of his duties and marriage with his neglected, unhappy wife, Julia. Everyone, except for Henry, is charmed by the newcomer, even the non-religious Professor Wutheridge.
And so the story unfolds...
It is a sweet and charming, wholesome and heartwarming film. I could easily believe that Cary Grant WAS an angel...who wouldn't?
I do hope you are all well and will enjoy a wonderful weekend. I am still fighting with a cold virus but little does it know that I am determined to win this battle! Too much to do to be sick! Be good to yourselves and smile often...I think all of you are perfect in every way! Love and Hugs, Susie Q
