A Summer Treat

One of my favorite things about Summer is a roadside fruit and veggie stand or
a great farmer's market! I am lucky enough to have many of both from which to choose lots of
yummy seasonal goodies.

And nothing is prettier on your Summer dinner table than just picked flowers right?
Don't you love the colors of zinnias?

What is YOUR favorite Summer time treat?

My favorite would have to be fresh corn and tomatoes and basil. And green beans. and zucchini. Oh heck! I just love all the fresh everything! And it isn't summer without a big bunch of zinnias:>)

Tomatoes would have to be my favorite summer treat. Fresh corn would be a close second.

Wow they look good. Its so hard to get fresh produce in London. Everything comes from somewhere far away thats been sprayed to look good for longer!

I loved it growing up when my aunt and my parents both had HUGE gardens. Nothing better than fresh. We have a farmers market here every Thursday, but of course I'm working during the time they are open. We do have a couple of roadside stands that I go to. Nothing says lovin' like FRESH!

our locals have been very slow -- just now really kicking in to gear. We just got our first zucchini from our garden. Nothing else yet. I almost stopped at a huge veggie stand when I was out of town today on a CASA errand. You would make a good CASA. Have you ever considered it?
