A Frosty February

I am so sorry to have been away for so long! It has been such a busy 10 days! Kipper had another small surgery, we welcomed in some company, and, well, just the day to day busy~ness has been extra busy!
Our area has had a few recent snowfalls and my! What a beautiful sight! I have been able to get out a bit and take some pictures...that always lifts my spirits!

I have a few things to share with you, the annual Chinese New Year celebration, our area's bi~annual Restaurant Week and so much more! But for now, I need to get ready for Grace's class party tomorrow!
Being a home room Mom is fun and rewarding but hectic at times!

I hope you are all staying warm and safe and wearing a smile!

Love to you all!

Hugs,
Susie Q

Busy times here, too, Sue! We are planning a spring getaway, for April!LOL Can't wait, but don't want to wish our life away.

I was room mother, class parent, teacher's aide, library aide and scout leader. When my kids went to school I went with them!;-) Fun memories!

I hope Kipper is okay!!

I remember the days of being a lunch mom and library aide and the person who ran this function or that...I remember it as fun. Those times go by so fast! I don't need to tell you to enjoy them!

Glad to hear you are well and busy! Cherish these times. I'm so fortunate to be reliving some of those days with the grandchildren. But, even those are fleeting - our youngest will be 8 this weekend (our sweetheart Valentine baby). Stay warm and be careful out and around. Sally

Oh what fun, being a home room mom! Enjoy the busy-ness while you can -- it's gone before you know it!

There are no homeroom moms in college! :-)

Lovely snow pictures!
Stay warm.

I was a home parent one year. But working outside the home wasn't conducive to that.

Your photos make snow look very inviting. Did you get anymore after that?

I hope Kipper is feeling much better. How fun to be able to share a day at school with your children....my mother was the best at that until she decided to teach...lol!

I think your region was slapped with much more snow than Michigan. Hope all is well for you. Beautiful photos.
