Easter *Hoppenings*

Uh huh...'round here we were *hopping* like crazy on Easter!

Of course we began the day with church and what a wonderful service it was! Then it was off to a delicious breakfast of omelets and Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes with the family! In the afternoon we all saw "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" at the theater and then we headed to dinner at Yankee Trace Country Club. We began going here for Easter dinner 4 years ago and always enjoy ourselves!
Then, after we stuffed ourselves with prime rib, ham, salmon, stuffed chicken breast, all manner of veggies, salads and chocolate cheesecake, it was back to Mom's. We all played outside, walked the dogs and just enjoyed the cool breeze and sunshine.

An uplifting church service, delicious food, chocolate bunnies, smiling kids, a fun movie, family and sunshine...now that is a perfect Easter day!

I hope yours was truly sweet...

Boo got a book about ICarly, his favorite show! He was so happy!
Look Mommy! I LOVE Carly!

Look at that smile! Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes Mom! That is way cool!

That was fun Grandma!

My pretty girl all dressed up for Easter!

Do you think Bill is proud?

2 of my favorite young ladies!

Come on Daddy! Let's go play!

No kissin'! I want to play!

Aw gee Grandma! More smoochin'?

Now you are talkin'! Football!

I caught it! I caught it!

Kick off those high heels and get into the action!

Grace's favorite surprise from her Easter basket...a Zhou Zhou Hamster...

We got Mom a pretty pot of lillies but even MORE beautiful were
these paper posies Grace made for her! Grace even decorated the vase!

Spring is blossoming everywhere in Ohio!

I hope your Easter was meaningful, sweet and filled with smiles.

Love to you all.

Lovin' the music Sue. Looks like a lovely Easter and Boo looks like he was having a great time. Grace is so very grown up with heels, my oh my.

Lovely day here, we actually ate on the deck and that has never happened on Easter in my 59 years. Yard work today...not my favorite thing to do...and there is plenty more to be done in the days and weeks ahead.

Happy Spring!

Looks like you had a beautiful day! I think your idea of eating out for Easter dinner is one I must adopt, I had family in but feel like all I did was cook and wash dishes. Too much work, not enough together time! I think you have it all figured out!
