My brother Jim and little ole me, circa 1967. His first Christmas. I had just turned 11. I was a pretty proud big sis. Still am.
My cousin Miriam (Yes, she was named for my Mother!) and me. Look how very lady like I am sitting! What happened to that Susie Q? Oh well...this was taken in Tennessee, circa 1962.
My father Frank, with my cousin Miriam, in Tennessee, circa 1959. Miriam is 2 years older than me and was born the year that Mom and dad were married.
Thank you to her for these pictures! I had not seen them in a long time and oh how they made me smile and cry all at the same time!
I have been an awful correspondent and will be working on that this coming week! It has been such a busy week and this weekend is our 35th High School reunion. Just how in the world did that happen? Gosh the years go by quickly...
I hope your weekend is a sweet one...love and hugs to you all.

Hi Susie Q!
Thanks for visiting me today!
You are adorable! I love looking at old family photos...it is as if they talk, and tell me stories.
I'll be married 35 years this fall....please DO tell me where the time goes? :-)
Old family pixs are great...actually, old pixs in general are great...I've been away from the blogging world for a bit so I had to read a ton to see what has been up with soooo many blogs I like to read!
Susie...
Oooh, how I L-O-V-E little girls!!
Have a blast at your reunion...mine is coming up quick...but, uh...a few more than 35..yikes!!!
Be Sweet...Cassie
What cute photos! I graduated from high school in 1967 - that certainly dates me! Have a great day!
Great, great photos. Thanks for sharing. You're a Southern Belle. I didn't know that.
What great pictures. I just love looking at old pictures and retelling stories about them. Just a few months ago, I got together with some of my husbands cousins that I had never met and learned so much about that family and got some copies of the old pictures to share with future generations. Thanks for taking us back with you.
I love looking at older pics. To me something about the black and white or faded color gives the picture more character.
I love these, Sue! The style of the photos takes me back to when my girls were just little chickies!
Hi Susie :)
What sweet pictures! I love seeing little girl Susie Q ;)
It looks like you had a blast at the beach!
Hopefully the closing on the house will take place this weekend and we'll be able to get together :)
love,
rue
I love these photos Sue! Great for a pillow project!
love, kelee
Look at cutie-pie you!! Love the old pictures. I didn't have any sisters, so my girl cousins were the next best thing - probably better as we got along and played so well. Such sweet memories - thanks. Sally
Okay, crazy question, but was your mother at the West Chester Ikea on Saturday? I saw a lady who looked sooo much like her, but no one she was with looked familiar. I was there with my parents doing a little economic assistance (shopping)!
Laurie S.
You look so adorable in these photos Sue!
I just love the old family photos, they sure do bring back memories and happy moments.
Your beach getaway looks amazing, I always enjoy the beach. Your daughter is so beautiful, her smile just lights up the room, my oldest daughter was a high school cheerleader and there was never a moment we didn't have something to do. You will be even more busy, but it's a lot of fun.
Enjoy these day.
Take care,
Elizabeth
Awwwww- you've been a cutie patootie for many, many years, eh? I love looking at older pictures. They're little visual time capsules. Fascinating.
Kari
I love seeing old family pictures--am using some of my own on my blog. I wondered when I started if anyone else out there in cyberspace really gave a hoot about my family history...I'm living proof, because I so enjoyed yours! C
Hey Laurie! How funny that you saw someone who looked like my Mom! It wasn't her...she was with us most of Saturday although we do love to run down to IKEA every now and again! Next time it MIGHT be us!! Say HI!! I would love that!! *smile*
Love,
Sue
