Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

It is snowing again...3-4 inches last night with more coming down now. We are expecting up to 5 more inches tonight. I am one of those odd balls who LOVES to be snowed in but this time I am not as tickled. Bill had to leave for Florida on business and is due in tomorrow. I sure hope he makes it back on time and safely. Please say a little prayer if you think about it!
Grace has another snow day so we are just being lazy and schlumping about in our sweats, watching movies and playing Wii.
Dan had a meeting so he is out now but will be back soon & then we will hunker down until tomorrow afternoon. I hope that where ever you ever are, life is being good to you and that you have much cause to smile.
I have been just an awful blog friend I know and I apologize for that. Please know I love each one of you and send lots of hugs your way.

You who love snow have my permission to keep it! I'll stay right here in this hot ol' sunny Florida. :-)

I love snow too but we get it about every 10 years. We had ours in early December so I may be OLD AND GRAY or should I say oldER and grayER the next time Houston gets snow. The idea of a laze around snow day sounds devine. Take care and hope hubby makes it home safely. Love you blurbs about the puppy.

Yes, I got your email but I have been nuts at school. We are having some interesting weather, some snow and sleet and it is a mess on the roads.

I'll let you know what our plans are as we get closer to our planning dates.

We got a little bit of snow today. I really wanted more too! Now they say we will get frozen sleet tonight, so I may be taking a day off tomorrow. Just the walk to work today had my leg aching terribly trying not to fall. Oh, well, maybe sometime soon we'll get more than an inch of snow. I can only hope. xxoo

I love snow and winter, too, when everyone is at home where they are supposed to be. I'll keep Bill in my prayers - he needs to be home with you hunkering down. It is up to 20 degrees in Colorado today - an improvement over yesterday - and the snow has stopped & the sun it out. Enjoy your day. Sally

Sounds heavenly to me...nothing better than a snow day...spent w/family and surrounded by warmth of home. It also helps if you have LOTS of food in the pantry...you know just in case you want to cook...ummmm...cooking soups, stews, pies, cookies...awww...sounds great...can you tell I'm HUNGRY!

We're having an "ICE" day here...but do you think most are staying home...probably not...and that makes me nervous...I do not like the ice b/c I know my loved ones are out in it...my DIL is right smack dab into her rotations...so she can't miss work/class...my son works at a 5 star resort/restaurant that NEVER closes...and is an hour and 15 minutes from his house...so...I'll be doing a lot of praying today (I'll be sending up some for your hubbin, too)...AND I will be hibernating in my warm home!

Blessings...
Teresa

We've had snow here since early November and we still have a few feet of it on the ground so I'm really tired of it...which is why I sent it your way. No need to thank me, what are friends for? hehe I pray that Bill gets in safely from his flight!! Now go get poor Kipper, his butt is frozen to the snow, poor fellow! lol xoxo

We are to get a couple of inches tonight too. We haven't had much snow to speak of this winter. Stay warm and enjoy your time hunkered down.

Sue,
First off, we all know you love us, and we love you as well. How could we not love someone so sweet. ;)
I love snow too! We dont' get much here any more. The grand kids have been bummed. Sounds like you all maybe getting a little more than one would want though. Sure do miss it. Enjoy!
Love and blessings to you,
Tammy
P.S. I too have not been good at keeping up for a while now, so don't feel bad.

Those kind of stay at home laze around days don't happen here. Unless it is a Saturday and we don't have to go anywhere. Congrats, you are the 5th person to correctly guess where the house is. I have not moderated your comment yet. But I will probably on Wednesday evening after I get home from work.

I am like you, since I am a homebody I love to be snowed in. As a family we play cards and watch movies and bakes cookies and stuff. Heck I may not even get out of my jammies. We've had a snowy and a cold winter so far this year. I could use a little "January thaw", but it doesn't look like that's going to happen! ~ Robyn

Yey for being snowed in! We've been wishing for snow but haven't seen a single flake this winter. I've still got hope! Would you send it this way when you've had enough?

ME2 (my altnernate personality) comes out to play when there is snow.
"No I don't"
"Yes, you do. I don't like it - you're the one who watches the cloud"
"Oh go to bed and I'll wake you up at 2"
"Don't you dare. I need my beauty sleep."
"Well, beauty is only skin deep, and ugly goes all the way to the bone."
(shaking head) "I thought we were talking about snow."

Hope Bill got home okay. Florida is a tropical winter paradise right now. Maybe you should have come down with him! Yes, I imagine dog tushies get cold in the snow! ((Hugs))

Me too, Susie, love being snowed in, though we don't get it very often. Loved it last week when we had five lovely inches of snow...ahhhh....have an enjoyable snow day, and prayers for Bill's safe return!

I hope your snow day was/is grand.

I lurve them, myself. Sad, though, now the kids are in jeopardy of having to "make up" lost days. Gimme a break. If we added up all the inservice days and other work days, i'd be happy to sacrifice some of them for a snow day. It seems like my kids only go to school 4 days a week between holidays and work days...

I know, I know...I'm not really bitter. It just sounds that way. :)

I love snow days too! The only part about them that I don't like is if I have to drive somewhere.
