Is there any greater joy than taking a drive on a sunny,
cool Autumn weekend? Meandering along
the back country roads, stopping wherever we please.
You never know what you will find along the way.
The color has been just glorious of late...
Stopping to find some pumpkins and gourds...
... and bags of juicy Fall apples and jars of sweet apple butter.
And then, as you turn a corner, you see the sun shining through
the leaves...and you have to stop and drink it in.
Then you find the perfect bench, leave the car behind and
sit under a canopy of Autumn color...holding
the hand of the man you adore.
It doesn't get better than that.
