Farm Foolery

I am hoping you all remember the old classic song "Grace's Sewing Teacher Has A Farm...Ei, Ei Oh..." You will need to sing along while you read this post...no? Okay. Hum? No? Okay, then *I* will sing...WAIT! Don't leave! I am just kidding! I won't sing! Fall sewing session began this afternoon and, as always Grace was thrilled. The kid loves to sew! And she is darned good too. I can brag about this as she did not get any of this talent from me. Right? Besides, I can barely thread a needle (I blame my 50 year old eyes for this! Not that my 21 year old eyes did any better!)) so imagine how proud I am of her! This is the quilt that Grace pieced over the Summer! It has now been quilted and she is tickled to pieces with it! See how excited she is about it? I can't decide...which flower is prettier? Ah yes, the one on the bottom. The one with the huge smile... Not a bad way to spend a few hours on a Fall afternoon...um...it is still Summer right? But oh, it felt like Fall! Glorious!
