When you see such wonderful fireworks, you just have to oooh and ahh! Right?
Many places in our area have glorious fireworks events every July 4th. We were on hand to witness the ones at Delco Park in Kettering, Ohio. Our family, including Mom and a dear friend, found a good spot to park and just, well, just ooohhhh and aaahhh...
The next morning, our merry little group headed off to our town's Americana Festival!
Of course there were merry clowns...
...and dogs...

...and more dogs...
...and horses too.
Wait! There was even a cute dragon!

...floats featuring Ohio's best.
...like Orville and Wilbur!
Cool trucks...
Music aplenty...
And some evil villians too!
And always the most adorable children!
What's more fun than a great hometown parade that celebrates all the good things
about where you live! Not a thing!
