It Was Dark And Stormy Night...
I think I will settle in right here tonight and watch a little television with my family. This is the comfiest couch...it resembles Jean's sofa on the BBC's "As Time Goes By". My favorite sit com and yes, I adore her home!Mom is coming for dinner (We have a Crock Pot full of chicken and veggies and all sorts of yummy smelling goodies) and bringing her little dog Abby. I think we will convince her to stay the night. We are getting lots of storms over night as the cold front approaches. Good night to stay in and cuddle up.
And...Grace and I have a bit of a drawing to oversee...gotta get those names all written down...Stay well, stay safe!
Sounds like a perfect evening! As Time Goes By, is one of my favorites, also. On our PBS channel, Keeping Up Appearances, follows As Time Goes By. I like that one too!
I love Jean's home and her clothes!
Now Hyacinth Bucket(thats Boo-kay), is another story. I can't even talk about Hyacinths, without having a mental image of our Dear Hyacinth and her candlelight suppers! O no, it's the "Bucket Woman"!
I love so many of the Brit Comedies! As Time Goes By is just one. I guess my favorite is Good Neighbors...or To the Manor Born...and I love Last of the Summer Wine and May to December...to name a few!
Somedays spelling shouldn't count, but it sure bugs me...my delete above.
Hi Sue: Just doing a bit of catching up with you and sweet Ms. Grace. Love the new pictures of her, your home & art, movie idols...heeeee, all the new stuff. Tell Grace I'm happy she liked the Fairy Houses. Come by and sign up for my Easter GiveAway. Donna
Oh lovely! Another one after my own heart. Who loves to notice sets! {Eeeek, I just glanced out the window and... it is snowing! Bahhh humbug!}
Anyway, back to a fun topic... I just _love_ sets! Film. TV. You name it. I rent film, just to look at the sets! I especially love films depicting long ago stories... because of the sets! You get the picture.
And I also, kind of map-out the set, from watching a show. I can just "see" the "As Time Goes By" home now! :-)

Glad your mom may spend the night. Rick cooked out on the grill before the storm hit.
We need to get with Judy and take her out. Call me.
Take care,
Love,
Terri
Now THAT looks like a perfectly cozy spot to curl up. Hope it was a good evening.

(of course here it's about 74 lovely degrees. don't hate me)
What a nice evening you have planned! Stay safe from the storms and cuddle up!
Looks like a great place to cuddle and stay warm! We had a big drop in temps here too, and lots of wind. Your crockpot dinner sounds yummy!
