If This Is Tuesday, We Must Have Art!
Glitter paint....that's what Van Gogh was looking for all those years. Glitter paint! The girl loves color....I do too. Rich and vibrant. And glittery!
I can't believe how behind I was reading your blog...but I've caught up now. Just wanted to say you and I would have a field day looking through decorating magazines/books (I have tons) and then taking a walk in the evening to peer in unblinded windows. "Look Sue, did you see the way they built those shelves by that fireplace?" "OH WOW, I love that light fixture in that one?" Problem is I also see a cop car pull up and ask us "what are you ladies up to? We've had some complaints about you peering in to people's windows". The whole time we're looking over his shoulder at the upholstery fabric on the arm chair in a window. "uh officer it's not a crime to take a walk and look at homes is it?" The officer replies "just walking by? 2 doors down I was told you left hand prints on their windows". We look at each other "oh yea, that was the house with Oriental rug, we needed to get color clarification". So after all that, I think we have a few things in common sweet Sue. OH and I love Grace's art! Done now! XOXO
Re: Your comment in my blog... Oh I'm so happy that your newer neighborhood was built with alleys! There's just not enough of that thinking, any more. :-)

Now THAT is color! And very pretty color, I might add. I think everything looks better with glitter!! (except food, of course--I'll take mine plain!)

And yes, I most certainly see Van Gogh in that second picture, for sure! With or without glitter. :-)))))

Are you matting and framing Gracie's paintings? These are fabulous! She's a very talented young lady! I mean that, sincerely!

I love, love them, and her use of color (I'm a color-loving girl, too!). I was thinking along the same lines as Pat...definitely frame-worthy!
