I am able to post some things, no photos yet. Sooo, in lieu of anything substantial or really interesting, I will post a LIST! TA DA!
1) Are your parents married or divorced?
They were happily married until my Dad's death 6 years ago. 2) Vegetarian?
I often feel I *should* be as it fits my love of animals. But, sadly, I remain a hamburger loving carnivore. Don't think I am not torn about that. I am!
3) Do you believe in Heaven?
Yes. And that it’s not like anything you or I can even imagine! 5) What jewelry do you wear 24/7?
A wedding ring, earrings of some kind.
6) Are you eating?
Right now? What have you heard? That I am ALWAYS eating? Sheesh. Nope but I did just finish a left over Caesar Salad. Yum.
7) Do you eat the stems of broccoli?
Yes, if properly cooked. I love broccoli!
8) Makeup?
Me without makeup is just too scary a thought. People would go into hiding. Small children would scream and elderly ladies would faint. Grown men would shield their eyes.
10) Would you ever have plastic surgery?
Okay, now you are just being insulting! Hmm...I will never have enough money to do that AND be able to travel extensively. Travel is much more important to me!
11) What do you wear to bed?
A night gown or sweats and a T shirt. Really exciting eh?
12) Have you ever done anything illegal?
Speeding, most certainly. Nothing too terribly significant. I have neglected to put on my seat belt and that is a law breaker right there. A real head breaker too. *sigh*
13) Can you roll your tongue?
Yes, yes I can.
14) What cell phone company do you have?
Verizon. 15) What kind of sneakers?
Brand? I am supposed to remember that? Two are white, a pair that is tan, one that is black. That is what I remember!
16) Eye color?
Blue with some red today. *grin* I am so tried...
17) Hair color?
Dark blond with highlights. Oh yeah, there is some gray in there too.
18) Future children`s name?
Another boy would have been named Joshua Lawrence. A girl? I love so many names...let's see...
19) Do you snore?
Rarely, when I am really tired.
20) If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I am pretty settled here but do love many other places. I could easily live in Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana. Virginia. England...uh huh. I could live there as well. I felt really at home in Great Britain.
21) Do you sleep with stuffed animals?
I always did...at one time, as a child, I had 42. Really! I slept with them all. My Dad always joked that it was impossible to find me.
Now it is just Bill and Kip and the occasional cat. Me thinks that the cats get too crowded and opt for other digs at night! Does a well fed Kipper count as a stuffed animal?
22) If you won the lottery, what would you do first?
Depending on the amount won...pay off the house, add to my children's accounts, set up future financial plans for my nephews, pay off my brother's house, set up a scholarship in my Dad's memory and one in my Mom's honor, give extensively to our favorite charities. Any left over?
travel, travel, travel. Oh, and produce a Broadway play. Featuring Brian Dennehy. I know you are shocked. I think it will be a love story. An older man with bad knees, a couple of Tony Awards and a wild past falls for a younger, chubby, be speckled, decidedly NON elegant woman. It will be filled with love, lust and intrigue, bad language and laughter. The occasionaly song too but NO dancing.
23) Gold or silver?
Silver.
24) Hamburger or hot dog?
Hamburger, but a good ball park hot dog is scrumptious.
25) If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pasta. So many varieties!
27) What was the last thing you touched?
Kip. He is laying next to me.
28) Where did you eat lunch?
Here at home...that previously mentioned Caesar Salad.
29) When’s the last time you cried?
I cry all the time...I am the biggest sap you will ever see. I cry over a wonderful piece of music, commercials, articles in the newspapers, the news...you name it.
30) Do you read blogs?
You know I do!
31) Would you ever go out dressed like the opposite sex?
Huh? Are you insinuating that my uniform of jeans and T's is NOT feminine? That is as
*opposite sex* as I get I think. Unless this is for a theatrical event. Are you offering me a role?
32) Ever been involved with the police?
I went to high school with 3 people that are now police officers. My cousin is a police detective in TN and one of my buddies has a husband who recently retired as a vice cop. I also have a neighbor who is a police officer. I talked to him this morning while we were walking our doggies. Does this count as involvement?
33) What’s your favorite shampoo/conditioner and soap?
I use Philosophy's Purity, a gentle liquid face soap and Suave shampoos.
34) Do you talk in your sleep?
Yes, I often do.
35) Ocean or pool?
I love to sit on the beach, walk along the water of an ocean, gaze out on it but for swimming? Give me a pool any day.
36) What is your favorite song at the moment?
Oh gosh....that is a tough one. Really. I usually listen to oldies stations and am playing some Greatest Hits CDs here at home. I DO know about the new stuff...but prefer the old. I actually have a Tony Bennett CD on now.
37) What’s your favorite color?
Blue.
38) Window seat or aisle?
Window seat.
39) What color is your refrigerator?
White. 40) Do you feel that you’ve had a truly successful life?
I have a husband I love, kids I love, friends I love, family I love. I try to be a good person and treat others as I would wish to be treated. I call that successful.
41) This number comes after 40 and before 42.
Is this a MATH question???? *gulp*
42) Ricki Lake or Oprah Winfrey?
Oprah
43) Basketball or Football?
Basketball. 44) Ever kissed a member of the same sex?
Sure! Mom, my sis in law, my friends, kids...what's wrong with that?
45) Do you drive a stick?
I drive a van. Big ol' mini van. Nothing elegant. Nothing sporty. But hey. I can get a lot in it and I like sitting up above the fray...
46) Cake or ice cream?
Ice Cream. 47) Self-conscious?
Forever. I am the lady who always has something spilled on her shirt, a torn hem, a peek of slip showing. I stumble on the sidewalk, drop a glass in a restaurant, spill my purse at the check out counter. No matter how hard I try to be elegant, I was born to be the goof. Elegant I ain't.
49) Have you ever given money to a bum?
The word bum makes me whince. I have worked in far too many homeless shelters and soup kitchens not to whice a little. It is politely asked that you NOT give money but instead pay for a dinner, a cup of coffee, a hamburger. That said, I *have* given money to someone who asked for it.
50) When was your first crush?
Kindergarten. 51) Where do you wish you were?
I have no complaints being here at home. Other than that...NYC, London or on a beach would be nice!
53) Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
Nope. It is a streak I hope to keep running....
54) Can you tango?
Oh yeah...like I can dance the elegantly sensuous Tango. Heck, I don't even watch Dancing With The Stars! Me? Tango? Refer to question 47. Oh yeah.
55) Last gift you received.
My Mom's Day booty. Good stuff!
6) Last sport you played?
Grace and I played Tile Tower on her Webkinz account. Isn't THAT a real sport?? No??
57). Things you spend a lot of money on?
Books and DVDs.
58) Where do you live?
Near Dayton, Ohio. 59) One big thing on your mind?
What shall I fix for dinner?? Hey, around here that IS a big issue.
60) Last wedding attended?
A neighbor's beautiful daughter, last Summer. 61) Favorite fast food restaurant?
If I have to choose, I would say Taco Bell.
62) Do you have an ipod?
I am sadly out of touch. Nope. Not yet!
63) Most hated food(s)?
Have you SEEN me?? I hate very little in the way of food stuffs. That is what gets me in trouble. Snails. I am not fond of snails. Or raw oysters.
64) Most memorable vacation?
England. 65) Can you sing?
Yes. Now ask me how well! 66) Last vacation?
To NYC. 68) Favorite drink?
Coca Cola or ice cold water.
69) Current Crush?
Billy. Oh, and that Dennehy guy.
