In honor of our Cheryl and her family, Grace did a little
"Bed Hopping" our first night at The Belvedere!
A "Before the theater" lunch at a wonderful Irish Pub
and Grill. Just next door to the Lyceum Theater.
The Lyceum Theater
In the reflection you can see Bill, Grace and our friend, LM, who
flew in just that morning from Tampa.
"There are giants on this stage...." Wow. Was this an amazing performance.
I love this old architecture....
Over 100 years old, this theater has housed the giants of Broadway...then and now.
Yes, HE wore a "balding headpiece"...*smile*
A long standing ovation....
The Lyceum stage door....from which those giants come and go.....
Our "after theater" dining choice was "Serendipity". Uh huh...just the same as in the movie.
Frozen Hot Chocolate, a speciality. Yum....
Our first night, in Times Square. Grace chose Bubba Gump's for the shrimp!
Another old, lovely theater, The Longacre.
The subway....
How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice....
This fire company was very near our hotel.
The memorial is part of a pretty little park just across the street from the fire station....
Hey...TAXI!!! By the 3rd day, Grace was hailing cabs on her own!
The world's largest Toy's R Us was just too big of a draw for Grace...and gee. Isn't this on screen giraffe just too sweet?
