Marching Into Spring...

The 3rd month of the year is here and that means Spring must be right around the corner. Here in our part of the world, the last of the grimy, sooty remnants of snow are almost gone. The sun peeps out more often and stays with us longer. The air seems so warm and breezes so soft and fresh. For now the gardens remain soggy, full of tangled brambles and broken branches. Ah but soon the world will burst forth with color and the lovely scents of the season. Uh huh, Spring is right around the corner. Ssh...can you hear it? It's coming, gently, on the wings of those sweetly chirping robins. Listen...

Good Morning Susie. :) Spring is trying to peek out here in Oklahoma. My daylilies and are peeking out of the ground. My clematis have buds on them. I'm a happy girl! Oh...we had our first tornados this week too. That's a sure sign of spring here.

Love the new blog design!

I noticed that tulips were poking their heads out of the ground yesterday!

What a fabulous image! We, too, have soggy grass, but that's because most of the snow has melted! And today I saw my first sprouts! Now that's a cause for celebration!

Happy spring to you!

I saw a robin outside a few days ago - a sure sign! Plus the daffodils have broken through in my yard. SPRING!

We had a lot of rain over the weekend, although not near as much as poor New Jersey. But today, the sun is shining and the sky is actually blue! I'm almost tempted to go out and plant something...although I think I'd better wait a bit.
I'm seeing green things, and I think that this year I'll have a great abundance of daffodils. I planted them years ago and they just multiply like crazy, LOL!

I have some tulips and some star magnolia peaking out. Sun has warmed our faces, too.

My begonias are growing in the guest bedroom. They'll be ready to hang in no time!
