It seems that many of us have been tagged for *sweet* anonymous comments. And why? because WE left comments of support to a blog buddy who has been heckled by this same anonymous coward.
Such people deserve no further publicity from us so I debated leaving anything to draw even more attention to our Sour Patch Kid commenter. But I want to post today as a way to celebrate this wonderful *hypocrite circle* which most of us have come to cherish. Like the women seen in the photo, we have all become great friends, friends who are quite willing to wade into the watery abyss to support one another, defend each other if need be and share our lives as dear friends do.
Is it *hypocritical* to do so? I think not. We are all different in so many ways yet the same in the ways that matter most. I care not a whit if your skin is the color of well ripened eggplant, you have been married 12 separate times to 9 different Albanian caterers or you do NOT think Brian Dennehy is sexy. Okay. So I MIGHT cringe a little on that last sniggle but a sniggle it is...and a minor one at that.
We all love our families and our homes. We all love this crazy world of blog and the friends that have come into our lives because of it. We stand together, as friends, as women, who are there for one another as friends should be. There is nothing we can not overcome together...even the inane ramblings of a disgruntled anonymous commenter.
I am so proud to be a part of this world and so, so grateful to call you all my friends.
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Amen!!
Amen!! #2.
Love the vintage photo! (Didn't know about the problem person...sorry to hear that!)
Great post! I love, love, love all the wonderful friends I've made through blogging. I also cherish my girlfriends here in NH. It's like having a warm blanket to wrap around you whenever you need it.
Amen and well put!
Amen....very well said. :)
Great post, Sue!
Great post Sue.
Count me among those, chick! I've never left an anonymous comment but stood up for what I believe. Shameless and cowardly to do something like that. I can't even imagine why someone would behave in such a manner, sugar.
xoxo,
Connie
Ooooh, all my anonymous comments have been good, just people who don't have a blog. I'm blessed I think......
Good post! I hope the rude person is caught and stopped. It saddens me that someone is trying to ruin other people's days with the rude comments.
What a shame that some people have to be mean. It may meant he end of Anonymous comments at all. Only cowards hide behind nasty comments and don't own up to who they are. Why should we let someone like that ruin our day? You go girl! Love the old timey photo:>)
I love it!!
There you go again taking the words right out of mind. I have now been a victim of this anonymous person, so I know what you are talking about. What a coward - he/she is the one losing out!! Here's to moving on and supporting each other. Sally
HAPPY WEDNESDAY TO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS,
IT SEEMS I'M ALWAYS IN TROUBLE FOR STANDING UP FOR WHAT I BELIEVE AND WHOM I DEFEND...
I have made wonderful friends in blogging world but like everything else there are people who will cut you to the bone...no matter how painful, i pray for them
hugs to you and your group of friends
I would love to be a part of your circle

What is going on? I have not seen any bad comments anywhere????
Love the photo and the post, Susie!
Kate
P.S. Who in their right mind wouldn't think Brian Dennehy is hot???
Problem people online have always been and always will be. Theres alot of bored, sad and lonely people out there who have nothing better to do than bad mouth someone for no good reason at all. Mom always said if you dont have anything nice to say about someone,,,,,shut up :) I agree. So if I dont agree with you or whoevers site Im on.....I either read, fume on this side of the screen then leave or just not read it. How hard is that? For some tho ...they just dont get it. I love how bloggers in blogland tho love and protect each other here. Theres still hope for the human race! :)
Tell me who it is; Ill go whack them fer ya!!!! Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion; if that person doesn't like what she or he reads they can GO elsewhere! That is the beauty of blogland there is something for all just a click away. Life is too short to be picking on bloggers that are sweet like you. Of course, now I am jealous that I have no mean comments: LOL!!!
Amen! I got an anonymous comment from that chicken! I'm with you, girl friend! We all stick together!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Great post! Thanks for coming by, I did get another comment today and no, I will not delete it. I will not be bullied or run off my blog. And I certainly will not be quiet when my friends are bullied. I'm adding you to my sidebar so I can hop in often!
~Michelle
I guess the anon hater has not visited me yet, that I know of.
I tend to look to the bright side and would probably interpret their comments in a positive light, ha ha!
Sorry it has become a problem, I wil join your cause against snippy anonymous commenters, cause you all are having fun in that pool of spring water!
I wonder, if we all took the logs out of our respective eyes at the same time, if the world would hear a deafening sucking/vortexy/squishy sound?
Hypocrites--raise your hand if you're NOT one. We all try hard not to be, but c'mon. We're human beings.
I lurve blogging. Lurve the IRL folks and those who will likely remain "invisible" this side of heaven. I like to think of it as a sophisticated (because I am, you know--NOT) form of pen-pal-ing. ;)
Where can I join up to be a hypocrite blogger? Here, here, Bunny Lady, for standing up and saying what each of us would want to say if we had anonymous commenters who wanted to try and make us feel bad. I've only had one so far ... just deleted the comment and moved on. They never came back. Kudos on a great post! xxoo
Amen in triplicate. I mean, cubed!
You handle things with such good grace. You truly are the hostess with the mostest.
You rock.
p.s. I don't believe that I have EVER left an anonymous comment of ANY kind.
Anonymous "hit and run" is cowardly.
And what's more ... it is NOT a way of drawing sympathy, so why does anyone use this format?
Well put! & Amen! Love & Hugs to you Susie Q
WooHOO, well said, very well said!!! Throw your shoulders back sista and give them the big snub. Women HATE that!!!!
As D would say whowhah! :o)
(or is it Whooowa? Oh, I'll just say Airborne, at least I can type that one!) Well said Sue!!!!
Hugs,
M~
I luckily have been affected by MS or Mr "A" - but I'll add my AMEN too!
Gosh I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about. I hate that person I want to give them a piece of my mind..and fist LOL. I'm a fighter LOL! Yay for you, yay for us hypocrite bloggers LOL.
All the best,
Allison
Love it! Thanks, Sue!
I agree wholeheartedly! Those poor disgruntled anonymous tipsters...I think they just have a deep-seated yearning to be part of the "in" crowd and just don't know how to express themselves properly. It's good that we can show them by example! lol
As for me, personally? I adore knowing that I've met all you wonderful people through our blogs. I don't understand anyone's "problems" with such happy and unfettered friendships. I think they should just dive right on in with the rest of us and let's ENJOY each other!!
:)
Kari
I always say that when someone leaves a nasty comment as "anonymous", then they're just jealous! hehe I LOVE being part of this blogging world of ours and oh yes, I will also stand up for my blogging friends...have done it before and no doubt will do it again:-) xoxo
It really is too bad about the anonymous poster. Mostly I just have weird spam with chinese lettering and some broken english.
ps. I believe that people who say mean and cruel things are angry and bitter. They want everyone to be as miserable as they are. It is a sordid form of entertainment -- like people who destroy property and dabble in malicious mischief.
Thank you Susie... you mean the world to me :)
