What?? No you big sillies you! *I* am not having an affair! Why Brian is no
where to be found! (Phooey!) It was the city of Dayton having an *A'Fair*! The annual World A'Fair!
Here we are at the entrance to Dayton's Convention Center...I wonder what we will find inside...
Now what was there of interest?...Why, there was great food from around the world. Friendly and interesting people, beautiful native costumes, wonderful music, fun dances and...
...there were lovely ladies trying on new fashions...
There was Japanese language craft...
Oh so good Chinese food ...
...and beautiful Korean ladies who taught Grace about the language!
You could even have a unique henna tattoo done!
There were Junior princesses...
...and lovely Queens.
There were brave Tuskegee Airmen...
...and lady WASPS.
Now who does THIS lady think she is? A heroic WASP? More like an old, cowardly bunny...
There were lots of pretty young girls trying their hand..er...hips...at belly dancing!
And look at all the good lookin' legs on display....here...
...over there...
...and here too!
Aw...forget all of those young *leg* men. I'll take a little Paprika Powered man every time!
Well, I had fun at 2009's World A'Fair!
I hope you had fun exploring the *world* with me today! Dayton's annual event is always a treat!
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

Great photos of the A-Fair! Looks like you had a marvelous time! I feel like I'd been there! Thanks for sharing!
See you don't have a double chin, just a long slender neck. :) Loved that picture of you. Looks like you all had a blast. I adored the last man getting his groove on. :) Adorable. I think Grace looked fantastic in the headband, hope she got one. Thanks for taking us along. xxoo
Wow..what fun this must have been.
So glad you shared photos with us.

I always feel so cool to have a henna tatoo! Looks like a fun time!
Oh, now that looks like fun!! It's like a little world cruise without the seasickness!! lol Happy Sunday!...Debbie
What fun for all of you!! A great day out - thanks for taking me along. Sally
oooooh, new blog dress! CUTE, I like... Ya know, I am so caught up in this house thing that I never go out anywhere in town. I missed the a-fair again this year- boo hoo... You are gonna have to keep me apprised of all the happenings in our little town, okay? I am attempting a clean-up of the kitchen today, what a mess. Workmen dirt everywhere... piles of my stuff everywhere... hope almost the last of it can get finished tomorrow, although I already know there is some tweaking to be done in follow-up jobs. You'll be the first to see, okie dokie? xoxo Sue
I always enjoy trips with you. I'd never see anything if you didn't host so many trips. I'm so glad you are able to get out and do so much. The A'Fair was wonderful. Grace looks lovely in the headband. And all those manly legs, made my heart beat, lol.
You are, without a doubt, the best Daytonian/Daytonite/ spokesperson for Dayton that ever was!
How fun! That place looks neat and it looks like Grace had fun :)
All the best,
Allison
That sounds like a fun time! The pictures were great. I love the headband Grace is wearing! (Brings out the Bohemian in me. lol)
I came by here the other day but my computer wouldn't let me comment. I tried yours and two others and it was a no-go. Crazy computer, gettin' an attitude with me. (*smiling grimly as she says that*) It seems to be fine now...which is the only thing saving it from a toss out the back door. lol

J would have loved that! Hope you and your beautiful family are having a fabulous week Sue!!!
Hugs,

Tell me the truth now, Sue, did you try to look up the kilts to find out if they do wear anything under it or not???? lol Oh what a fun time you had at the Fair and I loved seeing all the pictures. I love attending events like these!! xoxo
Love the kilts - and that WASP looks vaguely familiar!
the henna tattoo at first looked like someone who was double jointed -- painting her own leg.
Loved the paprika power. oh boy.
This looks like a great time.
