"I'm Ready To Play..."

"....today; put me in coach, I'm ready to play today; look at me, I can be centerfield"...
...um...wait....catcher? Oh! Catcher!
So I tweaked John Fogerty's lyrics a wee bit...just a bit!
Our girl with her BFF and her BFF's dad...the Coach!
She is good as catcher, the coach wants her to be
catcher but she HATES being catcher. *laugh*
"Well beat the drums and hold the phone the sun came out today-
we're born again, there's new grass on the field.
A-roundin' third and headed for home, it's a brown eyed beautiful girl;
Anyone can understand the way I feel..."

What fun! I enjoyed my daughters' similar activities when they were the age of yours. It's the greatest time for sharing! Enjoy!

She looks like a pro! J's been playing baseball for a month now and so far all his games have been rained out but one, and um, we were on vacation and missed it too! Poor little guy....hopefully this weekend he'll have his big "rookie" debut ;o)

So sweet to see such a beautiful girl be able to step up and do what needs to be done.
I'll never forget when I coached Tball and my April was on my team. I had always raised her in curls and bows and she was a doll in her uniform hehe, but getting dirty wasn't her thing. This game we were running low of players and I had to put her in. We had the bases loaded and last bat..I was so happy and oh no who was up to bat? April. She came prissing out and I walk up and say just it and run hard we really need you. Her reply" I don't wanna hit the ball mommy. OMG April just hit the ball.now she is crying"I don't wanna hit the ball mommy. We lost that game and I sure thought id choke her,but she was to cute=0

I used to be the catcher when we played softball, but I never looked as good as Miss Grace does. She totally rocks!

Got the card today and the sweet magnet. You know me so well. :) Will be doing a post on it soon as I get a picture of it. If I'm feeling better on Saturday, I'll be sending you something that I picked out for you before I got so sick, along with a thank you card.

For right now, thank you for thinking about little old me. *Big Hugs!* xxoo

Hi Susie Q!

My son was a catcher..you have to be really strong for that position!

Brava for Grace!

Your beautiful Grace looks right at home in that uniform! What great pictures, and I love seeing her with her BFF. I hope she and her BFF stay close -- I've got a friend I've had since Kindergarten and it's a very special relationship.

It is difficult to find a good catcher --

Tell her she'll have great shaped legs if she stays with it.

Catcher is such an important postion. I hope Grace sticks with it. It's so exciting to watch them grow up and improve in their game.
