This poor child was battered in 12 places. She must have hit the ground and rolled...and rolled...and rolled. Her knees and elbows were the worst, with the right side *hinges*, (AKA, knee and elbow), the most, "let's see if they make Daddy faint" yucky.
For the record, Daddy did not faint but he was teary eyed. Yes, I know...he is a keeper.
She is healing well, getting re-bandaged twice a day and even has her brother catering to her (He called 6 times during the 3 hours we were in the ER. "How is she now", "Is she in pain?"
Uh huh. He is a keeper too.
I wish you all a sweet Friday with NO bumps, scrapes or bruises!
Love and Hugs,
Susie Q

It'll be a hard night for her to sleep.
Ya know you've got it bad when everything is a photo shoot!! Dinner, drives to WM, hubby moving, making the bed(!), removing wallpaper, trips to doctor/dentist, going shopping, picking veggies in garden, ironing, remodeling just about any section of the house and hubby's boo-boo!! LOL So my little sweet chick, don't feel like you've lost it, in which case I'd have had to been committed by this time!
LOL
Smooches,
Connie
Oh poor Grace! What a trooper to have a big smile on her face like that. Hopefully she will heal quickly and feel better soon!
Poor Grace! I'm sure she's one sore little girl, but thankfully cuts and bruises usually heal quickly!
Oh the poor dear! Thank Heavens she has such a wonderful family to take care of her!

Poor Gracie, she's a trooper...look at that Mona Lisa smile as she sits suffering and knowing they are going to make her suffer more! Poor baby! Yep, Navy guys are always keepers, or at least most of the time, lol! (And no, didn't get the e-mail can you try again? digby@shtc.net should get me!)
hugs

Hey Suzy Q; I am so glad to hear she is doing well. It sure looks pretty bad, and she is smiling, what a brave young lady, and a very wonderful brother to worry so about her. Hope you share your fluffing and fall decorating with us, would love to see your outside. I am still working on mine too.
Have a good day tomorrow.
Hugs;
Alaura
She is definitely a trooper. I hurt just looking at her. I'm glad she's doing okay. Kids are always the toughest cookies.
Oh poor Grace! Give her a hug from Charli and me.
Poor Grace! Tell her I hope she heals quickly, and I love how she's so brave with that big beautiful smile!
OOH she'll be feeling it in the morning. But at least she has a great attitude...and I love that you were taking pictures in the ER...the docs had to be laughing!
i sense a career as a stuntperson!
poor miss grace...and poor mommy & daddy!!
oh Poor Grace! I'm sorry she had such a fall...good to see the smile on her face! Hope she heals quickly!
Hope she is feeling better real soon..m...
any stitches?
Oh well, I've lost it too then, a long long time ago because I carry a camera in my purse and I too take photos of my boy in the ER :)
Oh, no, poor Grace! I hope she's feeling well quickly. And what's wrong with that hospital that they didn't have any pink bandages!
Hope Miss Grace is doing all right. She looks so brave with a smile on her face. Thanks for wishing my Caitlin a Happy Birthday - she was so excited that Grammy's blogging friends would take time to comment on her birthday post. Sally
What a cute little trooper she is!
Isn't it amazing how men sometimes react when their kids are hurt? Mike almost hit the floor when he saw Jamie after his accident (that was back in 1994). I just love these tough guys who really have soft hearts!
Poor baby! Glad she wasn't hurt worse though. Actually, bandages aside, that's a terrific photo of her. She is growing into quite a lovely young woman!
What a sweet little girl,I hope she is feeling much better now.
Brenda:)
I'd say the whole bunch of you are "keepers"! Bless her heart...but Grace still looks pretty even with her bandages. She'll probably be skipping any day now.
I think photo shoots in the hospital are perfectly appropriate. Memories, right? Poor Grace. I'm glad her injuries weren't terribly serious. Nice to have a fawning big bro, too. You've raised incredible kids with Brian...er...Bill.
hugs, gretchen
Poor Grace! That must have been quite a tumble! Hope is healing up and not quite so sore.
Oh, Sue, she is so beautiful. And, I think, a blogger at heart (who else would put up with the photo call at the ER!). I hope she heals quickly; that's gotta be tough.
