I have been to Ireland twice, a small town just west of Cork called Youghal, pronounced Yawl. Bob used to go there for business. A quiet walled fishing town from the 13th century. So beautiful and the people are the friendliest I have found anywhere and the Inn we stayed at...so perfect. Wish I had some pictures, I would blog about it.
I love the purple door! It has always been one of my dreams to visit Ireland - I know I'll get there someday!

ReplyDeleteI love it, except for one thing: I'd never want to leave, I'm afraid, and come back home!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It reminds me of the house in the movie, The Quiet Man, which I have to watch every St. Patrick's Day! Have you seen it?
ReplyDeleteSo serene looking. Nice to imagine the inside and the families who might have lived there.
ReplyDeleteLove that cottage! so deliciously charming! And by the way, your new blog image is delightful! I love those blue hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful rest of the week!
