In October, our very world seems to explode with delicious color. The air turns crisper, cleaner, the sky a gloriously vivid azure blue. October's cool breezes shower us with leaves aglow in rich reds, sunny golds and burnished umber.

    Love them apples...how do you feel about apples...how's about them apples? Isn't that the line from the movie written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck??? I have drawn a blank as to the title...but it could be due to the time of day...it's 4:04 a.m. where I am...

    Just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for the sweetest comment you left me on my site...I love that others out there make commitments for life, too...you guys sound a lot like us...and YES we love our animals, too...and of course our children...

    What a great post! Your pictues are beautiful Sue. Makes me want to take a drive in the Ohio countryside and stop at one of those little produce stands with the pumpkin filled wagons and carts. They sell wonderful fresh apple cider...yum.

    No cider for me this year but I will be getting my fried green tomatoes at the Whistlestop Irondale Cafe.

    Ah October...ah Fall....Ah the crisp air under a solid blue sky. Apples and pumpkins and the smell of cinnamon!

    Mmmm yes! October! I was thinking how I really should savor every day of what's left of Autumn now. For sure! It's moving on and in a short time, the trees will be bare. And a different look will prevail. Time to really notice! Now! Not tomorrow or in the next hour. Now!

    October is my favorite month. I just wish it would cool off like it's supposed to!! It's going to be 80 today, and will go even higher later this week. Where is Fall??? It still feels like summer to me. I want the nice cool, crisp air to come, so I can wear my hoodies and jackets!!
