Do you love being a naughty little voyeur as much as I do? Aw gee, get your mind out of that gutter dearies. I love peeking, NOT at those people themselves, but at their HOMES! Their decorating...different styles and colors and seeing how other people feather their nests. So to speak....Well, here is a site that allows you to do a little of that *innocent* peeking quite painlessly! HomeShootHome is a web site for folks in the Pasadena/Altadena area to showcase their *nests* for potential use in films, television, commercials, print ads...you name it! It is a fun way to spend a few free minutes online and you might even gain a bit of decor inspiration while you peek! I sure did! Just click on the words, HOMESHOOTHOME and you will be whisked away...

Thanks Sue..this is right up my street...pun intended...LOL!

What I cool site...I'm gonna check that out. Do you guys have The Street of Dreams where you live? It comes to Georgia every year and I LOVE it! Basically, a sub-division, usually of homes costing anywhere from $500K to $1 million, is chosen to be decorated. Designers come in and decorate EVERY room in about 9 - 12 homes. Some of them are GORGEOUS...and some are just plain ICKY!!! We're gonna try and go this weekend, as this year, it's not too far from where we live. Check out the site, www.streetofdreams.com.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Isn't that a fun site? I could spend hours browsing through the lovely homes there! My favorites are in the "Americana" section.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Wow what a great site! I always like to peek into the windows when we drive by at night. My husband thinks I'm crazy but hey - if they have the light on and no curtains/shades - its like they are inviting you to look!

Hey Sue,
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to that site in a while. Thanks for the reminder.
That baby in your last post is adorable!
Expect a package early next week. Maybe Monday, if not it should arrive by Tues. :)

Are you kidding? I am notorious for that kind of voyeurism...I am not at all interested in seeing the people...it's the decor inside and outside I'm after! (night is best, when lights are on).
ReplyDeleteWhen G and I go out and about I love taking pics of the fab homes we come across. I am waiting for someone to run out to see what I'm up to as I ask G to make a U turn so I can get a better shot.heehee
XOXO
I love to peek too. In my old neighborhhod everyone had their blinds and curtains open and I got to see a peek of their beautiful homes and I took evening walks. Out here nobody but us have their blinds open...so sad!
ReplyDeleteJust made me jealous as you know what!!!
ReplyDeleteI, like so many others, am extremely nosy. So thanks for the excuse to look into other peoples places!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite style is crafstman, which is good since that's basically the style of my house!
