You have blessed us in so many ways. I am glad I was able to whisper a prayer on your behalf. I am glad to know all our thoughts and prayers have helped you in some way. connieTO BECOMEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01358989235076877037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8785684328749478914.post-36995024884059174632007-07-13T22:36:00.000-04:002007-07-13T22:36:00.000-04:00I just finished reading your post about your nephe...I just finished reading your post about your nephew Boo. My heart aches for all of you. Although my grandson (10) does not have Autism, he suffers from emotional problems which have been with him since he was 3 years old. He is in special ed today due to his problems. I love him dearly.

It is true that much is being learned about autism. The pressure is on to learn about it, because it is practically an epidemic. Roughly 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with it today whereas it was 1 in 10,000 in the 1980's. I am very concerned that these high numbers are due to something in our environment such as mercury in vaccines. This is very controversial though. I recommend that your brother and sister-in-law read the book Evidence of Harm by David Kirby. It was published in 2005. The author addresses this controversy in his book.

Boo is very fortunate to have such a loving family to be there to support him and love him. And you, Susie, are one of the sweetest souls. What a wonderful aunt you are to Boo. Your sweetness comes out in all that your write at your blog.

I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. May God be with you. May his peace pour over you daily and wash away the pain.

With love from the other Susie QMrs. Geezerettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17957440812143446191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8785684328749478914.post-243238776649853042007-07-13T16:06:00.000-04:002007-07-13T16:06:00.000-04:00Much love to you~ xoxoAndreaMuch love to you~ xoxo

AndreaSouthern Hearthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14672687626606973967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8785684328749478914.post-19315116462076265682007-07-13T13:19:00.000-04:002007-07-13T13:19:00.000-04:00Glad you are feeling better! You have a great weeke...Glad you are feeling better!
You have a great weekend!
RosemaryRosemaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00901666326985976038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8785684328749478914.post-3520652700974722172007-07-13T12:48:00.000-04:002007-07-13T12:48:00.000-04:00We all love and support you Ms. Susie Q! I do know what you're feeling . My 6 year old nephew Kaden was diagnosed with Autism and mild retardation as well. My sister works so hard with him and there are so many programs out there to help him. I would advise them to take full advantage of help that's out there. It's helped Kaden make great strides. Lots of parents don't want to admit their child has problem, so never get them the help needed. Just be there for them like i know you are.
