Let's Go Walkabout...

The frost tinged Autumn winds rush about...wickedly tearing delicate leaves from their noble station and callously tossing them to the ground... It is here, here on the cold, brown earth; here where they band together & rise up to face their enemy. Once again they face this frigid gust of air, powerless no more. They madly dance and twirl in this vortex like tumbling multi-colored glass chips in a child's kaleidoscope. Shredded bits of fiery orange, crimson red and ruddy gold frantically trying to escape this lowly place. Breaking free, they reach for the sun lit tree tops and touch the Heaven's blue. I went on a little Autumn walkabout this morning. I thought I would take all of you along too. It is so much nicer when a stroll is shared with friends.
